My recent trip to Taco Bell was truly enlightening. I finally understand how a place earns a proud 3.8 stars.

I walked in and stood at the counter while multiple employees made direct eye contact with me—so at least I know I wasn’t invisible. After waiting long enough to reconsider my life choices, I loudly said, “Hello?” and asked if anyone was working. Bold move, I know.

That’s when an employee—possibly a manager—who was comfortably seated at a table deep in conversation with another worker decided to grace us with his attention. No name tag, of course, but he offered up “Jacob” when I asked (sure). Instead of something radical like, “Sorry about that,” I was informed that I “had to wait.”

Wait for what, exactly? The conversation to wrap up? The stars to align?

I stayed patient and didn’t match the energy, but the highlight was when “Jacob” said he couldn’t wait to get my complaint. Confidence is admirable. Customer service? Not so much.

If the goal is to treat paying customers like background noise while prioritizing table talk, mission accomplished. That 3.8 rating isn’t a mystery—it’s generous.

I got the strawberry agua refresher, and this is how my drink looked at the bottom. I don’t know what it is. I’ve gotten this drink a few times and it’s never looked like this at the bottom. Absolutely disgusting.

It’s Taco Bell. As far as that’s concerned you’re getting exactly what you should expect in every sense. The food and service are consistent. I come here for a quick meal. The service is pretty fast. If the line is long they ask you to go to the parking lot and they send a runner with your food. Highly recommend.

The manager of this taco bell must direct employees to skimp on fillings. Everything is light on filling and if you pay more for extra they ignore it and still short you. Have eaten here from work at least 20 times and they always short you. The taco bell near me in Fredericksburg gives correct portions.

I am really disappointed with my recent experience at Taco Bell. The quantity of food has gotten worse, and it feels like the portions are shrinking every time I visit. For the price they are charging now, the amount of food you get is just not worth it.

I don’t mind paying a bit more if the quality and quantity match, but this time it felt like I was being overcharged for something that barely filled the box. It’s frustrating when you expect a reasonable meal and end up with tiny portions that don’t justify the cost.

Taco Bell really needs to improve their portion size and pricing, or they will lose loyal customers. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make changes.

I just had a really upsetting experience picking up food that my fiancée ordered. The order was under my name. When I got to the drive-thru and gave them the name on the order, the employee responded by saying, “We don’t have a Shanta???” in a tone that felt dismissive and inappropriate.

It caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. I couldn’t help but feel like assumptions were being made because my name is Shanta and I’m Black. On top of that, the manager’s tone was extremely harsh, rude, and unprofessional. There was no empathy or effort to calmly resolve the situation, which made the whole experience even worse.

I’ve stopped by this location a couple times when traveling near DC. The food both times was excellent. Quick, friendly service. It’s what you want when you’re looking for a fast meal to get back on the road.

This was a terrible experience food quality wise. I ordered the meal for two. The food what poorly made. Like there was BARELY anything in the wrap. The food did not taste right almost like cleaning supplies. Never going to this location again.

This Taco Bell service was slow for a Sunday evening dinner. We went through drive-thru with only one person ahead of us and it took about 10 minutes waiting in line/getting our food. After opening our food, it seemed like our food wasn’t cooked to 100%. It was edible but not to satisfaction. The workers were polite and seemed to get working at a fast pace. Overall not a bad Taco Bell to go to.
