I appreciate that they provide a stirrer that is also a stopper for walk ins.
But like another recent review mentioned, this Starbucks has a severe lack of seating. I’ve lived here my whole life, this is my Starbucks. The remodel has left this place feeling like a corporate hellscape airport Starbucks. There are only two small tables to sit at, and the vibe is gone. No more merch. No more coffee beans on display. No more places to sit around others and work. It is simply a place to grab food and go. You couldn’t eat inside even if you wanted to. They sacrificed the “cafe” for public bathrooms. Bathrooms for what? The two people who can sit there now? The people going through the drive thru? I don’t understand removing an entire cafe of seating for 2 bathrooms?
It’s just so obvious this was a terrible corporate decision to turn out as much product as possible. I hate to say, but it’s likely I’ll never come here again ♀️
I only like to pay for overpriced coffee if there’s a place I can enjoy it. Can’t justify a $6 latte if I’m basically shoved a handful of food/drink and shooed out the door.
And it’s not like sitting outside is an option. Even if I wanted to, there’s no outlet for my computer to work. And anyway, it’s too hot, and the corner of Bee Ridge and Beneva isn’t exactly a relaxing place to be.
Go a little farther down the road to Hashtag Cafe! They have plenty of seating, a family atmosphere, and a yarn shop! Sometimes they even give out free food and the good Wi-Fi if they know you’re working 🙂
Sorry, Starbucks. Wish it wasn’t like this
However, the biggest downside is the severe lack of seating. At this particular location, due to a recent remodel, there are currently only two tables available, which makes it almost impossible to find a spot to sit and relax—especially during busy hours. It’s a shame because the ambiance is perfect for working, reading, or catching up with a friend, but there just isn’t enough room to do so.
If they were able to expand the seating area or add more tables, it would make a huge difference. Until then, it’s a fantastic place to grab your favorite drink—just don’t expect to hang around for long.
Another time I had expired milk in my coffee
But on a more common note I typically either don’t get everything I ordered or I get something that I didn’t order or the wrong item. Today I ordered a chai tea bag they gave me some mint citrus tea. I also ordered a cake pop didn’t get it at all.
Once I ordered that sandwich that has the pesto on it and it came with absolutely nothing but the bread and egg no cheese no pesto.
Other times have come and the cup that they gave me was actually breaking down so the lid didn’t fit. I wouldn’t normally write a review for a massive chain because I know there’s one star isn’t going to make much of a difference but you would think they would get it right more often than not.
The quality of course isn’t that great because you know but we’re not coming here for the quality we’re coming for The convenience. This is all happened within the last couple of months and I’ve been coming to Starbucks for years so whatever happened in the last couple months it was really a bummer
