Other than being Trade Days in Canton, which I did not know about(thus the 4-star), it was great. Maddy recommended the senior menu… provides their favorite meals in half portion size. With it and the two rolls, it was perfect, ahead of the upcoming long drive home. Food is hot. Wholesome. Delicious. Filling. And reasonably priced. With tip it was under $20 which now a days is a plus!!

Good size of proportions. We needed ‘to go’ boxes.
Wait staff was attentive and pleasent. Fairly quiet. No reservation with no wait.
Parking was a little challenging given it is downtown; granted Canton is not that large. Lots of other shops in the area.

I wanna give a HUGE thank you to Val’s Italian restaurant for the amazing service they provided catering our wedding! We test trialed the food previously and it immediately won us over, and everyone at the wedding kept complimenting the food and even asking for pans left over from our big day! Thank you soooooo much! 10/10 recommend!

Server was not super friendly and seemed like she was sick as she was snorting her nose while taking our order. They do not have gluten free available so I ordered a salad and ended up with food poisoning. Not gluten cross contamination, but true food poisoning. My stomach hurt SO bad it woke me up for several hours that night and threw up. Oof! They should probably get a new batch of lettuce because that’s normally what causes food poisoning.
They do have gluten free available at the minneola location which I WOULD recommend because their service was top notch and their food was great!

Oh my word… DELICIOUS! Authentic Homemade Italian food. All of our meals were fresh & tasty. The roasted garlic olive oil dip was unlike anything I’ve ever had. The garlic rolls melt in your mouth. The owner, Val, visited our table to make sure everything was good. Service is top notch, friendly staff, & the best Italian food! Overall 10 ⭐️ !

Delicious salads and dressings! We tried the ranch, honey mustard, and house! Fresh, HOT rolls while you wait, went great with the salad. Good pizza and lots of Italian dishes. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The pasta was a little watery and not as saucy as I would like but it’s personal preference. Kids loved the white Alfredo pizza!

We had Val’s recommended by our AirBnB host and we were glad we came. The atmosphere was friendly and service was fast and attentive, and the food was great! My wife tried the shrimp florentine and I had the pasta combo special so I could sample a few things, and it was all excellent. We also had the mozzarella caprese appetizer, and the olive oil dip with the fresh baked garlic rolls, a must!

This place is super GOOD!! We visited the restaurant during “Canton trade days”, so it was very busy! There were 9 people in our party and I was expecting a longer wait, it wasn’t so. We got a table within 10 minutes! And, to my surprise, the food was also very quick! The service was as good as the food, and the food was OUTSTANDING!! The portions are generous, you will depart satisfied! Eat here you will not be disappointed!!
