Just finished dining here for the first time & I was very happy with my service & food. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, we had a bartender serve us however I didn’t catch his names . The supervisor walked around checking to make sure everyone experienced was enjoyable. The only thing that stopped me for giving it a 5 star was the red rice. While it’s flavorful it was dry almost as if it was old. Everything else was fresh and HOT!! Thank you for a wonderful meal with my daughter!

We enjoyed a very good dinner meal here. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi over mashed potatoes. Who knew how delicious this dish would be?? My husband ordered a seafood pot. We ate half and switched plates so we both could enjoy the meals that we each ordered. I also ordered a side of collards. They were a bit sweet but delicious. Our server was very attentive and kind. For dessert we had Key Lime cheesecake pie and I had the Blueberry Cobbler cheesecake pie. Yummy! We would definitely go again.

Blown away by the presentation of the whole fried flounder the flavor was amazing. The bacon cheddar mashed potatoes was phenomenal. Our waiter was great, friendly, and fast. Next time we travel to Charleston this will definitely be our 1st stop. The desert was fantastic. The raspberry donut cheesecake, and peanut butter pie were oh so tasty

Our first visit to this restaurant in the local chain of three stores. While not quite as good as the other one we previously visited, it was still a very good meal. We arrived at about 6:00 on Saturday and we were seated immediately.
Our waitress was cordial and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything.

I definitely enjoyed my visit. Similar to Gilligan’s atmosphere & menu but with different options. Grits were great – I could tell they were stone ground or more “old timey” style. Crab cakes had practically no filler but not quite the taste I expected (not a bad thing just a preference thing). I would visit again and try the crab balls

Just had an amazing birthday dinner at The Crab Shack!! My best friend treated me to dinner there as I have been having a craving for seafood. I wasn’t disappointed! Parking was easy, there was no wait, the staff were all wonderful. The atmosphere was nautical but tastefully done. And the food was just awesome. Started with the She-crab soup. It was thick, meaty, well blended, and all the flavors nicely balanced, not overwhelming. And especially not over salted. It was great. I chose the Captain’s Platter with red rice and fried okra. The scallops deliciously melted in my mouth, bursting with flavor but not over salted. The oysters were just right, not rubbery. The shrimp was cooked to just the right degree of firmness and bursting with flavor. The flounder is excellently seasoned and very tender. I loved the red rice as it tasted just like my mom used to make it. Also, the fried okra was tender and just right. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Overall the meal was great, the food was awesome and not overcooked or over salted. I will be back soon! Thank for a great dinner.

The service here was good: friendly and quick. Three food was a mixed bag. I enjoyed my meal of shrimp and crab legs, but the rest of my party felt less enthusiastic. The restaurant itself was fine, but there was some thing with cars happening outside that sounded like gunshots. This made it very hard to eat in peace.

Our group will pick a restaurant monthly to get together. We always schedule because normally we will have a group of 15 to 25 people. The food was very good. Our server was great and attentive to our needs. Atmosphere was good. Would recommend.
