It is older establishment that has a lot of local tradition and following. Had kind of a golf country clu. look and feel. The peanut slaw was different. Worth the visit!

Had been to this establishment about 5 years back, food was wonderful. Was excited to finally come back.. we ordered the “lobster” stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. Immediately, myself and hubby noticed a very fishy taste. Pulled the cheese off the top to find some pink paste which was not good. Tried to send then back, which the server took but the chef/owner refused to come out and speak to us to let us know what it was we ate- it clearly wasn’t lobster – considering lobster it primarily white. Offered no discount; and told the server to tell us “nothing was wrong with them”. Well, except they were nasty.
Delmonico steak ordered for $35 and it was not a good cut, no flavor, overcooked and under seasoned.
Asked for a hollandaise because at my previous visit they had the BEST hollandaise, and I was brought some imposter that tasted like an uncooked rue.
Extremely unprofessional to not speak to your patrons when there’s a complaint – now I know what the restaurant was empty aside from 2 other couples. Do not recommend.

Had a wonderful belated birthday dinner. I ordered the ribeye. It was hot, juicy, and a good quality tasting steak. I also got the peanut slaw which is A-MAZ-ING. Finished it off sharing a piece of the raspberry cheesecake which was delicious however the raspberry sauce at the bottom was too much and too sweet. Next time I would ask them to go very light on the sauce that they pour onto the plate. Other than that it was a perfect mael in a very nice soft lit environment. Loved it!

We been to Whisky’s several times over the last decade and we love the food, service, quaint and slightly rustic atmosphere, and the fact that it’s never changed since we’ve started coming here. We’ve had most of their dishes. I love their ribs and alway get mine dry with sauce on the aside because I love the natural meat flavor, their fish and chips, chicken strips, bread service, and those croutons in their salads (I almost always tell them to hold the croutons but not here). Their smoked baked potato is really nice as are their sweet potatoes. The potato soup was more like thinned out mashed potatoes than a soup and the only disappointment in our most recent visit – everything else was just perfect. Oh, I almost forgot the crunchy green beans! Different breading than what’s used at PF Changs but every bit as addictive (we dove into them and almost forgot to get a picture of them before they were gone – I highly recommend them!). Whisky’s is a delightful place to eat and we’ll definitely be back!

We come here about once every couple years and always have a great experience.
I got a peppermint cookie martini that was amazing, friends got yummy drinks too. We would have loved for the seasonal drinks to have a menu to look over. We almost didn’t get drinks at all bc there was nothing listed and we had to ask and then wait for our server to go ask someone else. They would definitely sell more seasonal drinks if they printed a menu, even a simple one.

Restraunt looked quaint when we walked in, then we were taken to the next room on right and sat on the right side near the front. The room was very dark, and the table they sat us at had chairs with rips/holes in the upholstery and the foam padding was showing through, and I thought it was really tacky! I would not have those destroyed seats in my home and would never seat a guest on them! They were beyond worn out and were what I call junk yard worthy! Reupholster those chair seats please. Tacky!

Food selection was odd. I finally decided on Sea bass… dry and kind of tasteless. But…. the crispy green bean appetizer was good and the peanut coleslaw was FABULOUS! If I return, I may just make a meal out of the slaw.
