Nico our server was absolutely amazing!! She was so attentive, kind, and hilarious. She handled a party of 10 people with grace and ease. She accommodated all of our needs and made us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere in this restaurant is unlike anything you’ll see anywhere else!!! I 10/10 recommend coming here!!! Thank you Nico!!!!

Wow. The food was truly good. I would almost say perfect, but as we all know nothing in this world is. I would just like to say the service was truly good. I think the food was good. I highly, highly recommend the smash burgers, 10/10. The koni salad was good, except it was spicier than expected. The peach salad was also good. The crispy flounder was in fact crispy, and a sandwich. It was quite good! The hamburger was good. We got the shrimp tempura tasted good, but the fried part was a bit stale. We also got a kids menu item, and we got an ice cream that did in fact have a fly on it. Obviously this is not the restaurants fault, as we were sitting outside. Now, bad news time: we did witness some servers not washing their hands after using the bathroom. This is a bit of an unsanitary predicament they have going for them. Also, they have a DJ. The DJ’s music is alright, but this very loud, and very hard to hear other people and the waiter. Overall I would definitely eat this restaurant a solid 3.5 stars, but I will round up because I’m in a good mood!!!

I visited Port Marina and Restaurant in Cape May, and it was a mixed experience. The location itself is beautiful — right by the marina with a great view, especially in the evening. Parking is easy with plenty of space, but since the restaurant is first-come, first-served with no reservations, we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. The place is divided into two sections, indoor and outdoor. We sat outside, where the menu was more casual and easygoing.
For food, we ordered quite a few dishes. The calamari was good, the wings unfortunately came undercooked and had to be sent back, and the crab and lobster chowder was one of the highlights — very tasty. The pork belly sliders were decent, and the Port oysters and seaweed salad were also enjoyable. The Port Special was fine, and both the sea bass tacos and fish & chips were fresh and flavorful. However, there was a mix-up with one order — we asked for bok choy but were served fries instead, and the server insisted we ordered incorrectly, which was a little frustrating.
Service overall felt rushed, likely because the place was very busy. The food came out in a reasonable time, but the order mistakes and the undercooked chicken wings made the experience less enjoyable. Another downside was the drinks — none of the cocktails we tried were good, which was disappointing.
Overall, Port Marina has a great location and atmosphere, with some tasty seafood dishes, but the service and drinks definitely left room for improvement. With better attention to orders and consistency, it could be a much better dining experience.

I had a great experience at Port Marina Restaurant. The blackened tuna sandwich was delicious, and the Parmesan truffle fries were the perfect side. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially sitting out on the deck with a beautiful view. Highly recommend for a relaxing and delicious meal!

You can’t beat the ambiance of this restaurant. Beautiful marina on the bay with charming outdoor seating. It was very crowded at 6:30 PM on a Wednesday, but we didn’t wait too long for an outdoor table. We ordered the calamari and scallops for appetizers. The scallops were nicely cooked with bacon and delicious corn puree. The calamari had too much breading and not much flavor, but the dipping sauces were good. I had the warm lobster roll, and it was very tasty and buttery, but a small portion. The fries seemed like an after thought on all of our plates. My partner ordered the sea bass tacos and they had a generous portion of fish. Overall, it was a gorgeous place to eat, but a bit overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food.

I really enjoyed myself here. I wanted a nice dinner date outside with water views and this checked all their boxes. I ate on the outdoor patio so I can’t speak to the indoor dining which I believe is a little different. I did however very much enjoy the food. It was great. Sea bass tacos! Just fantastic. The music and vibe was great. The staff are attentive and friendly. It’s a very fun cool spot.

Beautiful Space, Great Food & Chic Coastal Vibes!!!
PORT Marina & Restaurant in Cape May is a total standout! The design is stunning—clean, modern, and thoughtfully curated with a elegant, welcoming atmosphere.
There’s plenty of seating both inside and out, and we appreciated that they take reservations or walkups/ the outdoor bar is HUGE! Highly recommend going early if possible on the weekends to get a seat & parking spot!
The energy was upbeat & loud but great vibes, with gorgeous views that really elevate the experience.
The food was fresh and flavorful (smash burger + truffle fries were our fav)—definitely worth a visit if you’re down the Jersey Shore (or staying at our Boutique Hotel, Coastal Chateau, in Ocean City . We’ll be back!!
