Ordered the 5 wing dinner and 2 of the wings were so dried out that they’re inedible. Possibly refried chicken. I dont know what’s going on at this business but a whole new cooking crew is highly needed. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a good meal, something will be off with your order, guaranteed.

I been hearing about this place for years. So I tried the gizzard dinner with fries. The gizzards was great the fries tasted freezer burnt. They could include the drink with the dinner but it was separate. Total was $12. They drive thru is a little different they bring the order out to you.

This place has significantly dropped in rating. The wings are now tiny in size and moreso winglets and weren’t seasoned AT ALL!!! I only ate 3 of the 5 given in their dinner meal before I decided it was enough. The mash potatoes served with it tasted like cardboard as well…. NO SEASONING… not even a pinch of salt. Decided to try the Big Chick sandwich and the bread was molded. They fell off…. it used to be worth the wait to get HOT, CRISPY JUICY chicken but today was dry.

This is a small restaurant with no tables as a sit down restaurant, it’s designed to go. You can order inside at the counter or through the drive thru and they will bring your food out if u order thru the drive thru. Good Food! Great fried fish and fried chicken! They have great chicken sandwiches that’s very popular!

I ordered a 21 piece chicken barrel and get home I have 13 pieces of chicken. Now I have to go out and spend more money at Bojangles to feed my family. I asked the girl was 21 pieces of chicken in the box and she said yes. I’m not understanding, yes, I had a large order and it took an hour to get my food. Once I got my food, I only had sides and had to ask for the rest. then I was missing chicken and fries ( a worker pointed that out). I will never go back to this place. Count them, 13 pieces of chicken. Where is the other 8?

Love them bad but it’s getting annoying coming there for them to get my food wrong EVERYTIME I order the same thing everytime I get big chick no lettuce add cheese everytime they give me a big chic with lettuce and no cheese and the older lady in the back use to be so nice but lately have been super rude hopefully I’ll get better service at their other location cus I won’t be back to this one.

Slow service. I ordered a meal of guizzards and liver, fries, and drink. Oh, I was so amazed by the size of the livers. When i looked at it closer. Is beef liver NOT chicken liver. Chicken-a-sea needs to be clear of what they are selling on the menus. In the menus, it doesn’t say anything about beef liver or any other liver. It took 15 min. For my order to be ready. They need to hire another 2 more personal. They need to wear hair nets also.
The Newport News health inspector needs to visit the joint.

I paid $15. for my food and here I am back with getting overcooked food.I had 2pc fish dinner and it was fish that had been cooked before and again for my order, gizzards were hot but entirely to salty.. I Had stopped coming for a while because of the see saw service.Ive started bringing my food or wait until I cook dinner to much of my money thrown in the trash.the front of house seems to be doing ok, but that back of the house needs work might be to many different people cooking and the outcome is Always different good luck to them But Friday Was My Last Visit
