Mike’s on Main has been a central part of downtown Hendersonville for years, serving homemade food to locals and tourists alike. Want a treat? Favorites include egg creams, ice cream sodas, milkshakes and banana splits! Some of our most popular breakfast items are our eggs benedict, breakfast bowls and our huge, fluffy 3 egg omelettes. For Lunch, the homemade egg salad, chicken salad and pimiento cheese, along with Angus hamburgers really bring folks back time and time again. Need meeting space for a birthday, business event, wedding shower or any other event? Our Upstairs Meeting Room holds up to 50 people and is available for reservation.

Every Christmas we like to treat mom with a visit to a nearby “quaint” town and dinner. After searching for the best place for food and experience in Hendersonville, we ended up at Mike’s on Main.
It was like stepping back to an era I never got to experience but could only imagine. You don’t need a Delorian or 1.21 jigawatts to get to go back to the 50’s, just walk through the doors of the best sandwich shop in town!
No detail of this well preserved apothecary/soda fountain has been overlooked in creating an authentic experience. Aside from the amazing displays, the staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! My only regret is not trying a handcrafted milk shake.
If we’re ever up in Hendersonville again, we know exactly where we’ll be eating lunch!

They checked on us frequently to make sure our order was okay. They kept coming by to refill the drinks. We had hot dogs with shoe string french fries and my hot dog had sauerkraut! What a great experience and the food was good! On top of that we tried the very large banana split that was perfection!

Cool vibe, great food — but the wait was rough.
Loved the old pharmacy theme and the decor was on point. Food was solid, and once Lily showed up (she had just started her shift), service was friendly and smooth. But before that? We waited 20+ minutes with zero acknowledgment — no greeting, no update, nothing. Almost left. If they fix the front-of-house flow, this place could be a gem.

An Iconic destination in Hendersonville for many, many years, Mikes is a great place to visit and meet up with family and friends. We each had a hardy breakfast with everyone getting something special from Blueberry Pancakes to French Toast to my choice, the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, bacon and grits… Yum
Our waitress was wonderful from start to finish and all I can say is Thank You for starting us out on a wonderful day.

Wow!! The Veggie Reuben may have been the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve ever had. Cannot wait to go back and order it again. Great service and the sundae with caramel sauce was delicious. 5/5

Mike’s on Main is the perfect spot for some comfort food! The atmosphere is very kitschy and fun — you feel like you’re back in the 1950s. The service is wonderful as well. We had Randy and he was very personable and gave us the best recommendations. All of our sandwiches were delicious and filling. It’s simple food but done very well. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Such a neat place to dine at! The building is historic and the interior has been kept time appropriate too, absolutely nostalgic. Great selection of classic food items like the Reuben Sandwich I got and the Ice Cream Soda we shared. Service was great and plenty of seating when we went in the early afternoon. A great spot to check out.
