I stopped in at Ciro’s Seafood and ordered the Fish & Shrimp Combo Basket, and it ended up being a great choice. The shrimp was the awesome! Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and full of flavor. Easily some of the best fried shrimp I’ve had in a while.
The fish was also seasoned really well. The fillets were a little thin, but the flavor more than made up for it. They had that classic Southern/Cajun-style seasoning that hits just right.
The fries were legit, not the frozen kind. Good texture and tasted fresh. The hush puppies were pretty standard but still good and exactly what you expect with a seafood basket.
I also added a boudin ball, and that was another highlight. Super flavorful, crispy on the outside, and packed with great seasoning on the inside.
Overall, Ciro’s served up a tasty and satisfying fried seafood basket. Great shrimp, well-seasoned fish, real fries, and a flavorful boudin ball.
Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the mood for fried seafood done right. I’d go back.

Got home, was missing the shrimp from the 3 item platter. It’s 6 bucks more expensive than the 2 item platter and the shrimp is kinda the best part
Good fish, but rough expedience for a first timer. Inside smells extremely strong of oil – they need a better ventilation system.

Having grown up in S Tx on the beach, honestly I was a tad apprehensive about ordering shrimp from another place in the area and being disappointed by the size and taste, but I sucked it up and ordered the shrimp anyway. And boy was I pleasantly surprised when the waitress brought me my food! The shrimp was actually a nice size! I don’t recall seeing anything about gold shrimp, but it was definitely comparable. A lot of places around here advertise large or golf shrimp and what you end up getting is cocktail shrimp or smaller! The food was fantastic; down to the hushpuppies! And the chocolate pie…! Fantastic! Nothing about that pie was instant or pre-packaged!! We will def be coming back with our kids!!

Stopped in for a late lunch, and this place was the absolute best choice! The 4-piece catfish was some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I definitely should have ordered more hush puppies; they were delicious and left me wanting more. The place was spotless and nicely decorated, with a welcoming vibe. Clean restrooms, too, which is always a plus. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and a comfortable dining experience!

Outstanding! You are greeted when you enter and that sets the stage for an incredible experience. Our friend Sara lives in Caddo Mills and said we all had to go for dinner.
We had catfish and shrimp and it was excellent!
They even demonstrate how to make your own cocktail sauce.
Also had to try to homemade pie and WOW!

All the years Ive lived in Royse City and just driven by this place!?!?! Cheese burger was juicy, Boudin ball was full of flavor but the CATFISH was the true star of the show. It is some of the best ive ever had. Everything was hot, fresh and surprisingly light for fried food We devoured everything before any pictures could be taken. Customer service was top notch too!!!

Amazing food!! Fish tacos are amazing. Burgers meat is delicious and the buns are similar to Whataburger (soft/crispy texture but delicious). Shrimp plate and homemade tarter sauce are to die for. Super clean interior and a great spot to pull off the Interstate. Seating is good for families with both small and large tables. I would highly recommend.

Superb , quaint, CLEAN, open kitchen concept family owned seafood restaurant! Excellent portions at fair prices! They are always super friendly and appreciative of your patronage. My favorites include the grilled fish/shrimp tacos-crab cakes-boudin balls-and fried shrimp fried fish combo with coleslaw fries and hush puppies. Try them once and I promise you’ll be a regular !
