Nice healthy option though pricey. Real reason for lower stars is the behavior of some of the staff being very unwelcoming. I wasn’t even acknowledged the last time until i verbally called out and waved my hand, then proceeded to get blank stares from the staff. One girl hid… the others looked around at each other like it was a challenge on who has to take it. The girl who finally came up appeared very annoyed and I felt bad for having the audacity to order something .
The bowls are good, though I tend to always have a random old unwelcome blueberry make its way in my granola topping. I guess they are stored side by side. I also would not ever recommend the oatmeal!! Stick to the fruit bowls. The oatmeal is bland and not good no matter what you add.

I come here often and for some reason today they decided to send me home with half of a playa bowl. The bowl didn’t even have enough fruit in it. Mind you, the pictures below are from when I took it out the bag when I got home. Any other time it’s been fine but was disappointed in the lack of effort they put into preparing my bowl.

This location stays packed and busy! That’s good for them though! It’s just that the service feels a bit slower. They may need to hire additional employees. The bowls are not as aesthetic as other locations but the taste is good and consistent. I paid for extra Nutella and I am almost positive that they did not give it to me. If you are in a rush, consider ordering ahead or be prepared to wait. Hopefully they get an additional location in Newark.

I am writing due to the horrible customer supervise j received. I purchased 2 bowls on 12/23 at 8:12pm
when walking home from work. I get home and my order is completely wrong so I call the location to inform them and was told to come back and it will be remade.
I come back and was told I can’t get it remade once I left the store. So I had to repurchase the bowls and therefore bought 4 bowls that completely went to waste.
I asked for just 2 nutella bowls with no banana and no coconut flake.
I wanted to substitute for extra granola and extra Nutella for both bowls. I wanted to pay for an extra side of Nutella .
The boy who took my order completely did not take it properly and I ended up with two bowls missing the following. I called and the same boy told me to come back for it to be remade. At this point both my bowls are soup and I asked the girl can she throw them out and remake them the correct way.
She said they can’t take back and remake bowls. I was frustrated due to the fact $27 went to waste and I had to spend another $27 to just get the bowls I want.
This is so unprofessional and it seems like the boy was new cause he kept voiding my order and retaking it.
This place is a scam at this point.
I want to speak to someone regarding this issue.

Delicious A++++++ Made me wait about 20 minutes on a none busy day. I had to ask 3 times for my order, but at the end they found my order and I went about my day. Still very delicious

Playa bowl is something that I always enjoy eating. The fruits tasted fresh and the order was also made fast but nicely. The taste was amazing, and the atmosphere was the vibe the chill music playing in the background and then with friends it’s a cool and cozy place to hang out and enjoy. There is a lot to pick from and many customizations you can do and so it’s nice.

I used to love this location. But ever since they got new rules with customization I’ve gone less and less frequently. Every time I ask for a substitution… my bowl is ALWAYS incorrect. Today they missed one of my toppings that we will still always gladly charge.
UPDATE: went again and they got
my order incorrect again. wish i noticed at the location because i wouldve asked for a refund. SMH. last time they will get my business.
