We went here on National Nacho Day because they have great nachos. Sometime I would like to try their Honey Barbecue Pork nachos, but this time we went traditional. They put the most delicious chili on their nachos, and served the jalapeños on the side by request so we could control the level of heat to suit our individual tastes.

The woman working the register at this location is awful and probably should not be working the front. I dont know her name. Her name wasnt on the receipt given and she wasnt even wearing a name tag. She acted as though she didnt want to be at work in general. I have compassion most of the time for people, but alot of people are having a bad day. A smile and kind word go a long way and is very important when working the front register. I wont be back to this location. The cashier a bigger woman with glasses and I visited the location on 03/02/2026 @3:03pm. A manager needs to speak to her if she is not the manager herself on customer etiquette. She laid my bag on the counter and didnt even say have a good day. She walked to the register before I order with an attitude and didnt even greet me. It was an awful experience.

I came to this location at 3:30pm February 16th. I didn’t get any names of the staff, but they made this experience unforgettable. The food is hot and the best club I’ve ever gotten from McAlister’s. It’s my first time at this location, I usually go to the one in Fountain City, but will absolutely make the drive to be at this location every time. Give the staff a raise! They deserve it!

From the serve to the cleanliness. We enjoyed every second of this Warm, Inviting Atmosphere.
My Husband and I LOVED the Taco Tortilla Soup!! It was beyond delicious packed with Delicious Taco Flavor!! We also got The Turkey Club and the chicken Club. ALSO MIND BLOWING!!
Topped off with a Refreshing Lemonade
We enjoyed the quaint, clean atmosphere. The Gentleman staff at the counter who took our Order as quick to answer any question we had about what comes on the sandwiches, and was kind! Thank you! The bathrooms were well kept, and there was plenty of parking!
My Recommendations:

-The Turkey And Chicken Club

Great food for me, but not so much for my wife or child who have severe food allergies. The front of house staff really need allergy training. Working in food service and not knowing what allergens your food contains is already frustrating, but being unwilling to ask a manager for clarification is unacceptable. If you have any major allergies I would recommend steering clear of this restaurant.

Food was good as usual, got a Reuben, vegetable soup, and iced tea.
I would have rated a little higher except for two things. One, service seems to be a little slow, many behind the counter but only one running a register. Second, the original table that I sat at, number 421, was so unbalanced that at my tea just about fell over when I sat down. Seems like this would have been taken care of long ago.
Otherwise the restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean and overall it was a decent experience.

3 of us came to McAllisters to get a quick bite. I ordered my usual, a McAllister club sandwich. The bread was black and burnt. While buting into it, black slimy lettuce fell out. There was so much decayed old lettuce, and the taste was so off. I couldn’t eat it. The other people with me ordered hot sandwiches and spuds, all of their food was cold, and they could barely eat it. The staff wasn’t friendly by any means. So complaining or asking for a replacement felt like it would have been rough. We have had better experiences at other locations. I do not recommend ordering from here. Having issues with one order would be understandable… Issues with 3 on a big ticket is not understandable.

Stays busy, cleanliness is acceptable. Plenty of variety. The potatoes are so tasty. Soups are wonderful. Employees friendly and polite. Order at the counter and the employees brings your food to your table. Nice place to bring family or bring a friend for a quick lunch. Wheelchair accessible and clean restrooms. Place is easy to locate.
