From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of energy. There’s a certain charm to seeing the kitchen in action that you just don’t get from a delivery bag! The staff was friendly, efficient, and made the visit feel special.
As for the food it’s even better fresh from the kitchen. Whether it’s their flaky biscuits or their signature gravy, everything was hot, fresh, and hit the spot. If you’ve only ever ordered online like I did, do yourself a favor and actually stop in. It’s well worth the visit!
I visited Maple Street Biscuit Company this morning and was absolutely delighted from start to finish. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — cozy.
The food itself was amazing, was cooked to perfection, flavorful and generous. The portions were hearty, but the quality never felt overdone. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
Fantastic food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting vibe. I’ll absolutely return and will gladly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.
I ordered The Farmer (a hand-breaded chicken, bacon, and cheddar biscuit sandwich topped with apple butter). On paper, it sounded like the kind of breakfast that hugs you from the inside. But the execution? A complete mystery. The cheese sat on the biscuit stiff and unmelted, like it had been refrigerated minutes before hitting my plate. The apple butter was cold, sloppy, and oozing out in a way that felt more “accident” than “intended.” The bacon was incredibly fatty, the kind that makes you pause and ask yourself, Was the cook just lazy today? Or is this their normal standard?
For $10.99, I expected something far better than a sandwich I had to deconstruct just to make it edible. I peeled off the cold cheese, tossed the bacon completely, and ended up using a drinking straw to slurp up the apple butter because, frankly, it was cold enough to pass for a chilled beverage. That left me with a basic chicken biscuit sandwich, and I’ll admit, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. But at that point, the “positive” felt more like a consolation prize. Honestly, I could have driven to McDonald’s, grabbed a chicken biscuit for half the price, and walked away far happier. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from this place again.
Wait time is minimal and the staff are courteous and friendly. The entire menu works well for take out or dine in. We highly recommend them.
