..stay away from this place..stopped and tried lunch here today..my wife tried the fried chicken special..no seasoning at all on the chicken..i tried the t bone..ordered it medium..according to their own menu medium is a pink center..look at the pic of the steak..it was raw..told the waiter and no one cared..go somewhere else if you want a steak at least other places know how to cook them..stay away from here.

Order delivery by doordash. I ordered a appetizer of cheese fries and a kid’s meal steak bites. The kids meal was great food tasted delicious. However, the cheese fries looked like a portion of medium fries from McDonald’s definitely not worth 12.99 if the portion is correct. Also was not provided any silverware.

I was apprehensive about trying Montana Mike’s due to some pretty poor reviews. But I decided I’d form my own opinion. I’m glad I did. I went about 6:00 on a Monday evening so they weren’t very busy at all. The waitress promptly took my drink and appetizer order and brought them out in a timely manner. I ordered a ribeye steak with loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. I like my steak med-rare but due to my experience at other restaurants and after reading reviews of over-cooked steaks here, I ordered it rare. When it showed up the steak was a perfect rare, the potato had generous toppings and the Caesar salad was excellent. The steak was delicious as was the potato. The fried pickle appetizer was good too. If I had to nitpick something I’d say the roll they brought when they took my order was not fresh. But still decent. Other than that I’m pleased with my experience. I visited with the manager for a few minutes after he stopped by my table to make sure everything was to my liking. He was a nice guy that seemed to be working hard to improve the quality of food and service after previous management had let it go downhill for a period of time. I will visit again next time I’m staying in Miami.

I will be the frist to admit, it had been a while since I’ve been in Montana Mike’s, but we stopped by last Saturday and we were so impressed, we ate dinner here Wednesday again. They have done alot of remodeling, the staff has been superb, and the food has been excellent.

My husband and I went out to eat here and immediately walking into the building it smelled like seafood. We get seated, order our appetizers which comes out extremely grease logged and salty.
Next comes our food, they forgot the mushrooms and onions my husband ordered to be ON TOP of his steak. I ordered the ranch smash burger which comes with a breaded cheese ball and onion rings… This cheese ball was not breaded and very soggy and sticky. When asking the waitress about what was supposed to be in the burger, because perhaps I misunderstood.. she couldn’t actually tell me because she’s only been there 2 weeks and isn’t familiar with the menu yet. The burger was very bland and not smothered in ranch or the pickles it came with. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking to try a new steak house

OLDER REVIEW: I don’t understand all of the bad reviews. This place is simply amazing. Hailey is an amazing server. The Buttom mushrooms are out of this world. Steak was cooked perfectly. Everything was absolutely wonderful ❤️ Will be back even though it’s over an hour drive, actually almost 2.

Stopped in to treat the family to what I remembered as a pretty decent place to eat.
It was really bad. Nothing tasted good at all.

Waitress were great, salad, rolls and the mushrooms were very good.
However my ribeye steaks that was ordered med rare was not only rare, which I like but do not order in any restaurant because it’s a trick making a rare steak still hot. Half of it was pretty much grissle and fat, and my son’s baked potatoe was cold.
I was the head chef at a upscale restaurant for several years so this isn’t just a common option.
We were very kind to the waitress leaving but called to have a conversation with the manager. I’m sharing my opinion to everyone that I can possibly tell about the experience with the food and the management. I’ll never go back and I will definitely discourage any friend from doing so

Our hostess was our server as well and super nice. They weren’t kidding the mushrooms big and so good. Loved the lightly breaded catfish along with the tender steak so flavorful. Can’t complain about the okra either. Another place to be so happy to have been able to experience.

Seating was quick and service was great. I had a New York Strip with a salad and baked potato. I also ordered a huge margarita on the rocks with salt. The margarita wasn’t quite balanced-a bit too sweet but you can’t win them all.
