I come here from time to time, often with friends or family. It’s the closest KBBQ spot and it’s pretty good!
The least we’ve waited for a table was 10min (non-peak hours) and the most would’ve been around 45min if I remember correctly. Of course, the long wait time was due to the fact that we were there during peak hours so that was understandable.
Based on the amount of times I’ve visited, the staff are quite nice and visit timely when it comes to changing the grill!
Also, IMO, the meat options for BBQ are somewhat limited compared to the Hotpot. And I wish they would add rice to the tablet you can order on.

AMAZING FOOD! Great price! The place is very nice too. Highly recommend. The sesame balls are so good. We had the spring rolls as well of course those are great! We tried spicy beef/chicken bulgogi which was amazing! Shrimp both seasoned in garlic and unseasoned. And we had the short rib. We chose our own seasonings and sauce at the seasoning bar. Everything was delicious and it was everything I was craving.

Yuxing was great and really attentive to our table. She’s fast and is very knowledgeable. She knew a lot about the menu which was good for a hotpot newbie like myself.

First time here and I loved it. The food was delicious, the vibe was dope, but the service wasn’t all there. There were a couple of things that we ordered that they forgot to bring us, and it almost seemed like they were intentionally forgetting them as the it was getting close to closing time and wanted us to get out.
There aren’t many vegetarian options, if that’s something you’re looking for. Im sure this isn’t a spot vegetarians would pick in the first place.
It was 3 of us and we ordered a little bit of everything.

Visited on 10/24 For my birthday with a friend. It was my first time experiencing KPOT and it definitely won’t be my last. The employees from the front house Roseley and Tashi made my wait experience a fun one. My server, Yuxing was very knowledgeable of all the menu items. She also recommended a few items to try since I was overly excited and overwhelmed by the many choices offered. Her personality is so welcoming and she provided a great dining experience. I will definitely return.

Wow All-You-Can-Eat is amazing! So many food items to choose from meat such as beef, pork,seafood or chicken or tons of vegetables option too. The sauce bar is awesome! I especially like the ponzu sauce. If you get there around 6 pm, we got lucky it wasn’t too busy yet but it picked up very quickly. The service was amazing! Our waiter was helpful and attentive and just around nice guy. I highly recommend this place for the food at the right price!!

Very yummy – staff is hit/miss with friendliness & helpfulness but I am familiar with the kpot process so it doesn’t bother me too much. If you’re super new to kpot, maybe not the best spot to go.
Also if you are a lefty – the spoons at the sauce station are incredible inconvenient and ableist. Someone should adjust those to regular ladles.

Just yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to go out to lunch with my daughter, sister in-law and my mother-in law. We decided to go have hot-pot.
My daughter had been there several time before; for me and my in- laws it was our first time. We all had a wonderful time. Our waitress was patient, friendly, and attentive to us throught out our lunch date. If your going to have the hot pot “, you should only go with company you like and love to be with.
Having a hot pot meal was quite an exiting and pleasant experience at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot at the Colony Mall in Jersey City. Having such a professional and friendly waitress was a major part of the great dining experience. We started off with our choices of broth brought to the table and set on electric burners set in front of each of us four.
My daughter guided us on choosing the meats, seafood, vegetables and other items to put in our boiling broths. There were so many choices of sauces and items to eat.
All I can say is I loved the Hot Pot and every one should come and give it a try. Remember this is a meal you want to experience with friends, and family you want to spend time with. I am certainly coming back for a Hot Pot meal.
