First time at this wonderful establishment, and it did not disappoint. When you first walk in, there’s a small waiting area with a sign asking you to wait to be seated… well, we blew right past it . We realized pretty quickly that the hostess stand was right there at the entrance, so we back‑pedaled to the door and waited. We were acknowledged immediately with a friendly “We’ll be right with you,” which already set a great tone.
Once seated, menus were handed out right away—including a separate drink menu, which I loved. Our server, Shana, came over to take our drink order, and when she returned, she asked if we were ready to order. Since it was our first time, we needed a minute to really look things over, so we asked her for recommendations. Not only did she share her personal favorites, but she also passed along customer favorites. First server in a long time who actually did that—huge shoutout to her.
I ended up ordering the brisket scramble with a double side of the hash brown casserole (wasn’t feeling the biscuit today). Fantastic choice. The portions were generous, the brisket was tender, and the cheese and jalapeño really set it off. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach.
Shana did an amazing job checking on all her tables evenly and making sure drinks stayed exactly how customers liked them. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. The coffee is super strong—in the best way—and I grabbed a caramel mocha to go. Fabulous.
We will definitely be back.

I recently visited The Toasted Yolk in Elizabethtown, KY and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Alaskan Arnold, which was absolutely delicious. The combination of the salmon & poached eggs made it a standout dish. I also had the hash brown casserole on the side—it’s a must-try!
What made the experience even better was the excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive & made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It’s always a bonus when you get great food paired with such thoughtful service.
It was a wonderful time spent with friends and I can’t wait to return to The Toasted Yolk for another delicious breakfast.

This was actually my first time dining here and the service and food were both great! I mentioned that it was my first time in and the server brought us two complimentary churro donuts- oh my goodness they were delicious. Their scrambles are very good, along with their hashbrowns. Oh and the pancakes were huge! Cold brew was good as well. Will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful experience at Toasted Yolk today, thanks to our server Ben! From the moment we sat down, Ben was prompt, attentive, and incredibly courteous. He made sure everything was taken care of quickly and with a smile — we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better server.
For food, we ordered the Breakfast Burrito with the hash brown casserole, and also the Ben Omelet with the hash brown casserole. The casserole was absolutely amazing — perfectly cheesy, hot, and so flavorful. It was one of the highlights of the meal. Both the burrito and omelet were delicious as well, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
Between the great food and Ben’s outstanding service, our visit was a 5-star experience all around. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Ben again!

We had the We had the Aouthern Arnld and the Westcoast Arnold. Both were good but the Westcoast Arnold had so many awesome flavors. The Cajun turkey was phenomenal. We both had pineapple mimosas. Then I had the Rise and Shine cocktail which was tasty and tropical. My husband said his Moscow mule was heavy on the ginger beer and light on the vodka but still good. Our meal of two dishes and four drinks was $80. We sat at the bar but could have sat at a table right away on a Saturday morning. It was enjoyable. The hash brown casserole was tasty! It was a small serving but perfect because the rest of the food was so filling! I just wanted to take a nap after!

Ben is freaking awesome and the food is beyond delicious. Took his recommendation on the brisket scramble and I will be trying it again!!! Ben hooked me up with some of the best darn donuts I have ever had! (since this was the first visit I have had to a Toasted Yolk) over all I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a absolutely amazing meal with customer service that is top notch!
