We had an excellent time at Desantis! We were seated immediately even on a busy night, they had an awesome beer special running for $3 yuengling draft. We had a chicken cheesesteak and a salad! My wife said the salad was the best she has had in years! We will absolutely be back again very soon!

This is a fun, family restaurant/bar. There is a restaurant side that is less noisy than their bar side and we have sat in both sections. There are televisions so you can watch the game while you eat. We stop by every time we are going through Baltimore. The pasta dish is big enough for two of us to share. The last time we were there, we tried their Italian Lemon Cake. It was light with the perfect amount of lemon flavor (not too tart, not too sweet).

4.5 out of 5 only because the pasta needed extra seasoning (salt, pepper, red hots). I think it was made fresh, because it was slow to come out. The muscles were delicious the sauce was amazing. The salad was good. The drinks were good. The food was good portions. My daughter got chicken strips and fries they didn’t look homemade but I thought they were good.

My family has eaten here MANY times and I figured its time to do a review. Were always pleased with what we get. For mothers day we had the special of fried green tomatoes with crab meat and they were amazing. Both of my most recent orders have been carry out and the food is just as good quality at home as it is sitting down in the restaurant. They really take the time to think about the packaging of the carry out items so things don’t mix or get soggy. For example the friend green tomatoes came in a separate container from their crab meat & sauce counterpart so the breading on the tomatoes didnt get mushy and i appreciate that greatly!
My mother loves the Eastern Shore pasta. I did get to try some of it this last time we ordered and it was delicious. I typically get the shrimp scampi entree. I had that last week for Mother’s Day and last night I ordered the grilled shrimp entree which also comes with scampi sauce. My husband recently had the Rockfish wrap and last night he tried to fish of the day which was salmon in a Gorgonzola sauce with spinach bacon and crab meat that was absolutely phenomenal. My kids are very picky eaters but both of my sons loved the meatball appetizer. You get four giant meatballs. They’re crab soup is also great. I have had many things off of their menu and the food hits every time. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dine in or carry out.

This place is extremely busy and well liked.
They have/make Matthews pizza from Highlandtown….delicious, so delicious.
Their salads and appetizers were also really yummy….especially the eggplant appetizer.
Very lively and fun atmosphere, and there is a bar with televisions for watching sporting events… and also televisions throughout the restaurant.
We’ll definitely go again.

DeSantis is a frequent stop for me, and I always make it a point to order a cocktail. While the drinks are on the lighter side, the overall experience is delightful. The Matthews pizza is a standout, and while it may not quite match the legendary Matthews Pizza in Baltimore, it still offers a satisfying taste. The warm and cozy ambiance, coupled with attentive staff, makes for a pleasant visit. It’s a popular spot, so arriving at the start of happy hour is a great way to secure a seat at the bar.

Server wasn’t very pleasant, but was somewhat attentive. Bar side was full, dining side was slow but full. Calamari was great- cooked well & flavorful. Pizza was cooked well but flavor was off. They forgot the cheese on the Popeye and olive which made this a true spinach and oil pizza. This place used to be great. Not sure I’d come back

Over the past week, I’ve met different friends there twice for dinner. The atmosphere at the bar is always welcoming, the staff is very friendly, and the location is consistently busy. Wing and pizza specials are offered during Ravens and O’s games, but that’s not the only reason to go there, although this place has lots of positive energy to watch sporting events on multiple TVs.
Last week, we ordered the Blackened Tuna appetizer. This is one of their signature dishes and should not be missed, it may be called an appetizer but it’s a meal.
There’s a new kid in town, the Pestoroni pizza, which is of course pesto (no tomato sauce,) basil, ricotta, pepperoni and hot honey. My husband asked for it to have meatballs added. It was so good he re-ordered it a few days later on our 2nd visit. After dining in for years, on this last visit we chuckled to find out they finally had pizza boxes! Many a leftover pizza has been taken home with 2 paper plates taped together into a makeshift container, but now it can travel in style in a box.
I ordered the Italian Cold Cut and on my next visit a few days later, the Chicken Steak Sub. The sandwiches were good, generous portions of meat, but for both of these the bread was a disappointment. However, I’ve had the Chicken Parm and that sub roll was nicely toasted, so I will always ask for my rolls to be toasted.
What else is good? The mussels, the crab soup, the shrimp salad wrap. My friend always, always gets the Tio Pepe Shrimp, with its signature brown sauce. Also, the Shrimp Scampi appetizer is always a hit. Every now and then the daily special list will carry something truly distinctive, like their Short Rib Ravioli, and it’s nice to see the kitchen stretching a bit—especially when it leads to the development of the new Pestoroni pizza.

I usually get the cheesesteaks, which are really good. I decided to get an Italian cold cut this time and was a little disappointed. When I called in the order, I asked for everything on it. Everything would include the house dressing. Apparently, someone missed that part because it wasn’t included and the sub was a little bland as a result. The good news is that the fries were enough to feed me all day today and tomorrow!

Have never sat down inside, stop in for the Matthew’s pizza! I feel the bottom of the pies get a little more well done at the original location but these are still excellent and worth the price.
Today was the first time trying the wings, Honey Garlic….more honey than garlic but tasty…good fry on them, skin nice and crispy.
Place is always busy whenever we stop in.
