Amazing experience at La Vespa Vista Mare! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was even more incredible. We were absolutely delighted with our experience here. As always, the service was impeccable — attentive, warm, and perfectly timed. The food was outstanding: the open ravioli with lobster was a true culinary masterpiece, and the entraña was cooked to absolute perfection — among the best we’ve ever had.

We were very much looking forward to dining here as it was recommended by a couple of places and people. Upon entering, there is a fishy odor to the area and that was off putting. The food was sub par and we were disappointed by the oysters and mushroom ravioli.

Bravissima!!! we stopped by on a whim as we were leaving the JW Marriott. Gorgeous location right on the water. Comfortable seats and pretty blue glasses and plates – and a blue Vespa. Some of the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy! The pizza molto buono. Melanzane delicious! Volcano cake omg. We only had an hour and our server Enghel was so friendly and efficient and got us out in time. Grazie!

So I wanted a nice meal in great location and amazing food ! This was it . We sat almost ocean side and we had a great night view with wonderful breezes. It is 9 pm and mid 80’s !!! B
We split the house salad and the mustard dressing was just right and salad crunchy and fresh.
Mushroom ravioli and sausage and hands made and perfect
I got the salmon and whipped potatoes and asparagus. I asked our server WILLIAM for the dressing in the side and he did it. He made great suggestions.
My buddy got the juicy steak and we finished with Flan

Vespa is located wonderfully on the waterfront, boasting amazing views of Costa del Este while you dine. My pistachio & pesto was overall pretty good, but I did expect a little more. (My bad, near the sea, should have got seafood). The shrimp was really tasty, and for an individual in my family who is quite picky, they thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. The cherry on top was the cream flan with Nutella, it was nice and rich with great hints of graham cracker and fruits. Pretty hard to beat the combination of amazing views, great service, and fresh food.

Second night I politely asked if they could provide complimentary bread to make up for the previous charge. They brought different bread and charged $3.50 anyway without clarifying upfront.
The bigger problem: their receipts are printed with such poor ink quality that the numbers are barely legible, making it nearly impossible to verify line items before paying.
Between the surprise charges and unreadable bills, it feels like the place is designed to nickel-and-dime customers who don’t scrutinize every detail. There are too many good restaurants in Panama City to deal with this kind of treatment.
