Worth the cab trip from the port for sure. We told the cab driver to take us where the locals hang out, after a quick stop at his house for some fresh peppers off his tree, he took us to Lolo’s. We told the woman working the grill to surprise us with her best dish. She walked over to the water, pulled up a crab trap with a huge live lobster and a couple of crabs. Got to work cooking them
over open flame in the grill. Served up the best Caribbean lobster I’ve ever had with the crab meat served over the shell with some rice & Mac n cheese. The price was good, loved the authentic vibe & truly “fresh catch” cooking, right from the dock to your plate. Will go again.

Cynthia’s Talk of the Town Lolo Bar and Restaurant was excellent! The best of all the restaurants in Grand Case! Shoutout to my fantastic server Swabe and the wonderful cook on the grill! I ordered the Mahi Mahi and shrimp combo with the curry rice and fried plantains and a guava piña colada! I can see why all the locals recommended this spot! If I was here longer, I’d be back.

Very delicious sides – highly recommend the mac and cheese. Portion is huge. Prices are very affordable (14 usd) Ribs were good but not sauced (they provide sauce). I loved the shrimp skewers. It is a road side spot but the beach is visible.

This is a Saint-Martin classic not to be missed. Had great BBQ Ribs and love choice of 2 sides. Superb Potato Salad and Cold Slaw. Great location right on beach at pier in Grand Case. Funny enough our Motorboat Speedboat Tour took us there the next day … Great call Jad!!!

So “lolo’s” are basically a concentration of outdoor food stalls or hawkers. The setting is gorgeous yes but the cuisine overrated. This review is simply a disclaimer because we went out of our way to come here to dine. We were drawn to Cynthia’s specifically because there was fresh meat being grilled but what we received was not. We ordered the salt fish, the stuffed crab back, 2 orders of ribs with sides and the bbq chicken. Essentially it’s all premade food that’s kept “warm” on countertops so nothing is really fresh. Nothing was seasoned. The bbq’d chicken was watery and tasteless. The ribs don’t come tossed in sauce and the rice and peas tasted very old. The corn was so over cooked when you bit in, it felt like mush. Overall would not recommend.

Cynthia’s By The Beach is an amazing restaurant and experience. You are sitting in an open air kitchen overlooking the beach. The food is authentic, local cuisine. We visited on two different occasions and both meals were excellent. I had grilled red snapper on one trip and the next meal I had ribs. Service was great and it’s the best priced meal in Grand Case. Highly recommend it. They do accept credit cards.

Complimentary fresh Johnny Cakes from Lolo herself! My family then ordered The Rib plate that was heaping with absolutely deliciousness, Mac & cheese, rice, potato salad, spaghetti, vegetables, coleslaw, and ribs. Not a single thing on the plate was left, I am the world pickiest eater and I loved every single thing! The owner and staff were so kind & sweet! Wish I would have taken a picture before devouring everything lol HIGHLY recommend! 10/10!!!

The food was average at best. The ribs were good, chicken was fine, shrimp was mushy but the flavor was good, fries were definitely fried from frozen, Mac and cheese was boxed, and the plantains were microwaved. I’ve had better plantains in the US. We saw them microwaving many side dishes. It’s cheap but still not worth going.
