Never been here before. I went for an event. Huge place. Id definantly go again on my own time so I can explore the store and the bar and the deli.

This place is a Bakersfield claim to fame right here that has the history to go with it. The vibes on the outdoor patio are just unmatched and also an amazing time. Everything I’ve tried from here is absolutely delicious. From the apps to the pasta, steaks, etc. You can’t miss the mark coming here. I highly suggest sitting on the back patio with friends or that special person in your life. Crack open a bottle of wine and enjoy the ambiance. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know both locals friends and out of town. Also they recently added another parking lot to help with the parking situation. Obviously the location is not ideal; however, that just goes to the history of the business. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time at Luigi’s, and we really had a nice experience. The food was delicious and service was perfect. The interior of the restaurant is really cool with lots of pictures all over the walls. We went there for lunch. My grandson had the monte burger with homemade lemonade that was delicious. I had the small Giovanni gourmet salad, so yummy. Next time we go, we plan to try some pasta dishes.

We were on a roadtrip passing through Bakersfield and desperately needed a place to stop for dinner. We looked this up, and confirmed with family that lives there that this is a staple here. I have not eaten Italian food this good ever. The service was great, everyone was incredibly nice. I was so satisfied with my meal, by the time we made it home I was already missing this food. We also tried the olive oil cake and took some home, keeps very well. If you have to eat anywhere in or near Bakersfield, this is the spot!

Got the monte burger, I give it 3/5. It was alright, I wouldn’t order it again. I feel like it just lacked taste. I haven’t had the chance to try other items but would come back again just for the vibes.

First of all if you are planning on enjoying this restaurant during a weekend day please reserve as delays are usually very long. We ordered a New york stake, green/white pastas and a side salad. We also ordered some a ravioli plate. They start you off with some very plain sourdough.. and no oils or sauces to start with. I was told some simple olive oil for my appetizer was extra cost. The steak was completely burnt even though I had ordered it as medium-well. The seasoning was great I have to say but the meat was just to burnt. Our pastas where delicious. Overall we liked it but it wasn’t what we expected. I will be coming back to try a different dish.

To be quite frank, the food here is awful. Pasta was trash and watery and the sandwiches were not edible. They seem to be using the lowest quality bread, cheese, and meat possible.

Okay my pasta was amazing! Service was iffy because they served two tables before us who got seated after us (one of which was larger than our group). The affogato I would recommend skipping, it was one of the worst I’ve had and I’ve tried a ton, but I’m giving the five for how awesome the pasta was. It was literally the best pasta I had in my life. Sangria was alright but nothing to rave about. Skip the drinks and dessert and just get the pasta, you’ll have no complaints. Friend had the red sauce on their pasta and did not like it, I can only recommend the truffle one. Get the truffle pasta.
