Great option in Atmore ! Party of five. Three from New Orleans two from Georgia. The restaurant has choices that are all you can eat for five dollars more…but give you the opportunity to upgrade after beginning your meal…this was a great option we appreciated. Everything was cooked well… Fried items not too greasy. Onion rings are a standout. Everyone loved the texture and consistency of the coleslaw… might be a little sweet for some folks. Seafood platter, shrimp poboy, Catfish and peel to eat shrimp dinners were all enjoyed. The Cajuns would have liked a little more seasoning… but their taste buds are understandably shot. In the future would love to be in the area on a Thursday for “hot” peel to eat shrimp.
Not a biggie… but I think the calibration on the fountain drinks was a little off… but didn’t have a chance to mention it.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a sweet smile and was asked about my day. My server was Stephanie and she made me feel like family! So sweet to someone dining alone! The food was delicious! The decor is classic and rustic. Don’t skip the famous Cole Slaw!! A+++

This place offered us really good service. I ordered the catfish filets and Cole slaw with hush puppies. The catfish was really good. The seasoning and the batter was some of the best around. Was definitely pleased with the food and the service. I would recommend if your looking for a bite to eat.

This place is excellent but difficult to find on Google. It should rate 1st on Google.
Everything including the tap water was succulent! So good in fact that you don’t even need the sauce. However, the sauces were fabulous and added exceptional taste when used sparingly.
The service was friendly but a tad slow, I guess that is life in a small city. Atmore city is down the road a ways but certainly worth the drive if you are anywhere near.
One thing you notice is how cleanly the shrimp comes out of the shell.

I asked for my whole catfish be fried extra hard but when it came out it wasn’t fried extra hard. However, the server made sure it was corrected and it was perfectly delicious, along with my sides.

Absolutely no wait time, friendly polite hostess, fast service by the waitress, and food was delivered quickly. The food was amazing, and that Cole slaw was simply the best! Loved the decor of the restaurant. There was a two-seater bicycle that was pretty cool as well.

I really like the taste of the catfish and popcorn shrimp from the all you can eat. The service is slow regardless of location and at times it’s hard to get refills. Although some go on and on over the coleslaw I find it too sweet. The greens were pretty good too. The gumbo is average but everyone makes it different.

My wife and I had dinner here recently. She got the catfish and I got a burger. Both were fantastic! Our server was great and did an amazing job. The prices are very reasonable.
