We went here today for the first time. It was a little bit of a drive from where we live, but we had heard of this place, and wanted to try something new. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. When we arrived, the thought was just that it was a typical restaurant/diner. We found that it is kind of a hybrid store/restaurant, and the menu is all ala carte. This was a little disappointing, which is why the 3 stars for “atmosphere”. The aesthetic of the place was cool though; kind of rustic and modern at the same time.
Now, the food. I ordered the Meat Lover’s Omelet with the Wheat Toast, a side of crispy home fries, and a coffee. Aside from the home fries not being included with the meal (which was a disappointment-$15.95 for a small Omelet and toast) the food was FANTASTIC! The Omelet was VERY GOOD, and LOADED! And the Home Fries? I asked for CRISPY, and they came out EXTRA CRISPY! IT WAS JUST HOW I WANTED THEM!!! I could have eaten TWO sides of them!!!!! My only wish, is that they would have included them in the price…$15.95 seemed a little pricey for the size of Omelet and just toast… The coffee was just “ok”. It was nothing to write home about, and it came in a cheap Styrofoam cup…I wasn’t impressed.
My wife ordered the FULL Biscuits and Gravy with, again, an ala carte side of Home Fries. HER food was PLENTY to eat! It was a GREAT portion size, and the Biscuits and Gravy were REALLY GOOD! I KNOW! I tasted it!!!! Wow!!! All in all, the quality of the food was VERY GOOD! I just didn’t care for the ala carte on everything, and I thought it was a little expensive for breakfast.
At the end of the day, I will go back, if only because the FOOD was JUST THAT GOOD!!!!!! I said it earlier, but I could have eaten 2 of those Omelets, and 2 orders of the Home Fries!!!!Next time, I’ll be more “in the know.” I don’t know what the rest of their menu is like, but if what my wife and I had is any indication, I would recommend them! You won’t be disappointed in the food quality, freshness, or taste!!! This will be a ” once in a while” spot for us.

First time at this lovely welcoming and clean location. My hubby and I wanted to stay away from the kitchen and decided to look for a new location for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff welcoming but the service style is self service. …very important to note because as you approach you will think it’s the typical sit-down with wait staff taking your order… it’s not.
Self serve with coffee water and soft drinks. Grab a menu oder upon arrival and buzzer alert when food is ready. This worked because we sat quickly and got out quickly in time for my hubby to start some scheduled work calls.
We both ordered the Farmhouse Benedict and it was perfectly done ✔️.
The gift shop offers some fresh and local items. Its nicely stocked.
A bit up in price for self service. I wish the coffee was more gourmet but I think it was an overall great start to my day. If you stay off the highway to get to the location it’s a pleasant drive.

Food was soo yummy! We got the bf signature quesadilla, asian style salad, and brisket burger and it was all so good. All the food, especially greens, tasted fresh and the flavors were on point. Atmosphere of the restaurant + farm was really nice, I recommend visiting booger the tortoise!

Driving in, this place looks very nice and well done. The big tortoise is a super cool feature. The gardens are scenic and the building setup is nice.

Now for the cons… for a “farm to table” place it was incredibly disappointing that the supposedly fresh made pies had ingredients like Cool Whip. The snacks located around the building were mostly garbage ingredients and highly processed – only a few were local. Bagged chips with the burger? It didn’t feel like the emphasis was on healthy or local like the marketing suggests. The bathrooms, while nice, reeked of artificial scents.

As people who love farm to table restaurants we were very disappointed. If you just want an average lunch at a cool place though you will likely be more impressed.

This was a really nice place! The food was excellent, and it was great to meet the 27-year-old turtle. We highly recommend this spot if you’re in the neighborhood!

I took out of town guests to what I thought would be a great breakfast. I was disappointed as were my guests. You have to place your order in the store. You are then given a beeper to go pick up your order when ready. You must gather your order, condiments, styrofoam cups and plastic silverware.
You even have to bus your own tables. How could a farm that presents themselves as being sustainable and earth conscious give out styrofoam cups and plastic silverware?
Sorry you need to do better. So many better places to eat than here.

I just had my wedding here yesterday, absolutely perfect. Anna, her husband and her team are so hardworking and trustworthy and made my husband and I’s big day the absolute best it could have ever been. Their venue is gorgeous, so many places for great photos, the food is phenomenal. There is no other place quite like Buckingham Farms and I’m so lucky I was able to spend the day there. Highly recommend for casual lunches or breakfast, and even more so for a wedding!! I’ll definitely be back just to chill here for some food.
Thank you guys again for such an amazing day ❤️❤️

Wow, we were really impressed with this place. We decided to go over for lunch and we could not believe it. The food was excellent. I had crabcake salad and the crab-cakes could not have been cooked more perfect and they were a beautiful size. I couldn’t even eat both of them with the salad my boyfriend had the pistachio grouper. Both meals were out of this world cooked to perfection & flavorful …..the place is clean you get to stroll around a bit, they have fresh produce from their farm gardens …… they have tons of great canned jams jellies, honey elderberry elixirs you name it they got it…..Don’t miss this place. I’m telling you right now. Bring your guest. Bring your sisters bring your family Bring your friends!
