We finished with a vanilla crème brûlée that was light, creamy and beautifully done – the perfect ending to the meal.
What really stood out though was the service. The waiter (the owner’s brother) was brilliant – warm, attentive and clearly passionate about the food and wine. He added a personal touch that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
A real gem of a restaurant – fantastic food, great atmosphere and service that makes you feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend.
This is a small and cosy restaurant in a lovely part of Paris. We were seated downstairs and even though it is small, we didn’t feel cramped or overwhelmed. The decor is musical themed and every detail is thought about – even the towels in the toilets!
My partner and I both had the lamb and it was wonderful – both in presentation and taste. For dessert I had the creme brûlée and my partner had the chocolate lava cake, both again amazing!
The service here is second to none, our server was extremely attentive and ensured our bread bowls were never empty! Even though it was clear the two servers were very busy, they always had time to attend to all the customers and were very kind and helpful.
This was a meal my partner and I will never forget – we will definitely be back!
First time in Paris visiting from Long Island, NY. I researched romantic restaurants for dinner on my fiancée’s birthday, and chose Au P’tit Curieux. What a fantastic restaurant!
We dined at many wonderful restaurants over our week-long visit, and this was hands-down our favorite: smaller without any sense of being rushed, a very pleasant atmosphere with fellow diners speaking at respectable hushed volumes, and a romantic soundtrack giving us the quintessential Parisian experience of our dreams. Oh, and the food: the sort that had me reflexively close my eyes to savor the first bite of each course.
The staff were terrific and I cannot recommend Au P’tit Curieux strongly enough. It’s off the beaten path, but worth the trip. We look forward to dining here again the next time we’re in Paris.
Atmosphere is low key elegance reflecting very elaborate hand painted figures on the walls and the ceiling full of soothing symbolism.
Last but not least, the wine and the desserts were AMAZING!! We had all the desserst and I would recommend you to do the same.
10/10 recommend
