I ordered the Through the Pines cocktail, ceviche, and the shaved prime rib sandwich. Everything was beautifully plated and perfectly cooked!
I’ve traveled extensively through Central America, so I have high standards for ceviche .This one was a pleasant surprise. Fresh, well-balanced, and with a nice kick. Definitely recommend ordering it.
The shaved prime rib sandwich was seasoned perfectly. My only note is that it was dressed a bit too heavily for my preference, though the quality and preparation were excellent.
Service was attentive, food arrived quickly, and prices were reasonable for the quality. I was hoping to try the octopus but later learned it’s only available during dinner which gives me a reason to return.
Overall, a polished lunch experience. I look forward to visiting again for dinner on my next trip.

01/29/26: Got the mahi fish tacos for lunch and they were delicious! Wasn’t heavily breaded fish bites And it didn’t have a fishy taste, which I feel like happens more often than not.
I showed up on a Tuesday, right at their opening time of 12pm. I was the only customer there. Food came out about 15 minutes after ordering it.

This place is absolutely fabulous!! Excellent service by Andrea and Aubrey! The pork shank is to die for and the old fashioneds are great. Laid back vibe, honest and very helpful servers! Don’t miss this gem in downtown Blue Ridge!

You HAVE to go here if you’re a foodie. The pork belly appetizer was probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. If you’re a Caesar salad snob like myself, another best. Chef’s kiss! Very pretty restaurant, 10/10 recommend for any occasion!

Service was good, had reservations for 7:30 pm on a Saturday. We were able to pick our table to be in the back towards the bar. While expensive (the cod was about $40), it was quite delicious and our server was attentive and friendly.
I’m not normally a French fry person, but they have good fries. The flounder was covered in a nice buttery sauce. The miso cod has tasty ramen noodles and a great miso sauce. My sandwich was great, lots of bread which was a bit much but the bread was so good and toasted so I ate it all anyhow. The unsweetened tea also tasted fresh, which I appreciate. The mulled wine was also wonderful and tasted like Christmas! We walked here so not sure about parking. No unisex restrooms.

Atmosphere in the bar area is very chill relaxed. They got a new menu and chef since last time we were there. The ceviche was FANTASTIC! With the homemade chips! WOW
The non-alcoholic drink (there’s only one on the menu) with vodka is the way to go for cocktails

From Miami worked in the industry my whole life won a Michelin star with a restaurant group in Miami . Came to ellejay for a weekend escape from the big city , stumbled upon this Gem Whiskey & Waters let me first start by saying what a beautiful restaurant a block away from the Main Street with a back patio that you can bring your dogs , they’re selection of bourbon whiskeys & ryes are next level , are server was Andrea a sweet southern charm was very nice and helpful the whole time taking care of us recommended some great dishes local beers & Hats off to the Chef Marty Ebberly what a stud that guy is simple ingredients DONE RIGHT ! With an explosion of flavors . Will come back to GA just for this restaurant and the vibes of this town

It was good but slightly overkill on trying to make it Boujee. Greeted by the host , with ” Do you have reservation?” We said no. Then it was like a pause as if she couldn’t help. We told her we just want appetizer and a drink. She said oh you can sit at the bar. We never been here and asked where is the bar?
On good side the Bartender was awesome made our visit more relaxed. I had japanese steakhouse salad and wife had Greek salad was amazing. Wife got the mulled wine it was amazing. Definitely recommend.

I came here for an early dinner while on vacation. Sarah was very nice and a great waitress! After I didn’t like one of the cocktails, she took it back with no problem and got me a different one. The Halibut, though pricey, was absolutely delicious! They also have an extensive whiskey menu…prob why the restaurant’s got the name it’s got! Also, the chowder was super tasty! Definitely satiated!
