Island Vintage Coffee at Whalers Village is a great spot for fresh, high-quality food with a relaxed island vibe. The presentation is beautiful—everything comes topped with vibrant fruit and edible orchids, which makes the dishes feel very Maui. We tried a few items including toast with fresh greens and avocado, and an acai-style bowl loaded with berries, banana, granola, and a rich drizzle on top. The ingredients tasted super fresh and the portions were satisfying without feeling heavy. It’s a perfect place for a light breakfast, brunch, or dessert while walking around Whalers Village, with great flavors and a very aesthetic presentation.

We had a great breakfast at this place, tried their Huapia acai bowl — absolutely delicious! The bowl was super satisfying, and the fresh fruits really stood out, especially the papaya. Their matcha is amazing, smooth and flavorful, and the bagel was surprisingly good too. You can definitely get a hearty breakfast here; everything feels fresh and fulfilling. The vibe is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot to start your day. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone craving a tasty, satisfying breakfast.

At 8 AM on a Monday, this place is hoppin’! It’s known for its great açai bowls and coffee. The island style plate with sprouted five grain rice was excellent, with fresh papaya. We ordered the frozen vintage Kona mocha with whipped cream on top as well as the double Kona mocha with whipped cream on top. Both delicious. The atmosphere could use a little improvement. Very basic seating area. In order to get your parking ticket validated for two hours free parking, you must purchase over $20.

Great açai bowls and kona coffee with amazing flavours!
Went around 8am and there was 15-20 min wait line which is okay to wait for delicious morning açai bowl breakfast after my yoga session during my stay in Maui.
I tried Moana açai bowl and I loved it!!
I also ordered an avocado toast which was good!
Also, lavender latte was really nice and refreshing !

These were some excellent acai bowls, the matcha iced drink and croissants lox sandwich. I thoroughly enjoyed the acai bowls, they were packed with layers of acai, granola and fruit. Among other toppings like peanut butter. They were extremely busy. I think the time was something like 45 mins to get a bowl. But we ordered 2 bowls and one to take back with us for our friends. They packed both and put the in the fridge so I stood there waiting extra long for mine and they mistakenly put both in the fridge. We did enjoy ours it was tasty. I would get it again. The person at the counter was very sweet and took our order and offered to put one in the fridge. They put both but it was worth the little bit of extra wait.

The coffee shop is a chain and almost always super busy especially in the mornings. We bought the avocado toast and vegetarian sandwich and the mango smoothie. The smoothie and avocado toast were great but the vegetarian sandwich lacked salt or much flavor. The ingredients feel fresh so overall it’s still a good buy. There’s not a lot of seating, not enough for the crowds so we took our food and walked a bit to a nearby bench and ate there.

Tried various açai bowls here every day of our week in maui and all were delicious! Exception would be yesterday’s original bowl which was only half full in the large bowl. I’ll take that as an exception. Today’s bowls were back to full bowls and perfect ratio of açai to toppings.
As for drinks, we tried decaf iced americano which was surprisingly good for decaf. Unfortunately, the regular hot americano was not great. Ordered the matcha-yuzu iced tea in the late afternoon as well. If you prefer sweetened matcha drinks, this is not it. It had a slight citrus flavour of yuzu and grassy, straight-up matcha without any sweetness.
Enjoy while shopping at Whaler’s or settle in one of the few tables scattered in courtyard in front of store.

5 stars for the drinks, 3 for food. The coffee and frozen mochas are delicious. I especially love the Macadamia frozen mocha.
The food, however, is not as good. The Avocado toast is just sliced avocado and a salad on top of toast, instead of having seasoned, mashed avocado spread. It’s also physically difficult to eat as you clearly aren’t meant to pick it up with all the salad on top, but it’s impossible to cut with the flimsy plastic utensils.

Definitely the prettiest açaí bowls I’ve ever seen! Since we stayed around the Kaanapali area, we stopped by here multiples times for a quick breakfast and coffee. The line can be a bit long sometimes so don’t expect to have your order ready quickly. But the servers are kind and efficient! The coffee is good. Their strawberry matcha is decent and comes in a large size!

Hands down the best coffee we had in Maui! Tried the famous Black Sugar Latte rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced .Only downside: pricey, but honestly worth it for the taste and vibes. Cozy, friendly spot with a true Hawaiian coffee experience ✨
