As I we to Walgreens and drove past on way home, still there in same spot. Character
So definitely an employee huh
Circled lot a few times which took some time as well because drive-thru was busy and cars off main road alll lined up. There was a SUV parked taking up two spots in front and being I had an elderly person with me of course handicap spots were full based upon time of day. So I called the store and they said well let me ask the customers so she got back on the phone and said okay he will move it. Just double parking by the front door and dropping off my passenger and then parking in the back as I came up the truck was still there. When we left after about 15-20 minutes the vehicle was still in the same spot. Makes me think with all that time going by, was it an employee’s vehicle. Or just an incompetent manager that didn’t make sure a customer that stayed so long move their car when asked.
I don’t use the automated order system. She took my order the old-fashioned way without a complaint and even had a smile.
Clean restaurant. Friendly staff.
I gave 2 stars overall because ive always had issues with this location, but its usually fixed when I mention it. Great on those employees! We love when people are nice, even when having a bad day, so if youre one of those workers, youre doing a great job!
However, the issue that I experienced today was something id never encountered at any location, or any other restaurant alltogether..

I use the mobile app, but I dojt order through the app. I go through the driver thru and give the code. Always. I was with my mom and we ordered two sausage egg and cheese biscuits with cheese. Yes, we know there is an upcharge, and no, we do not mind it. I also order a large iced caramel coffee using the reward points I had banked up to get that item for free.
When we start ordering, we notice the lady taking our order has a fairly thick accent. No big deal for me, growing up around it ive been accustomed to listening through it. My mom does have a hard time, so I take over the ordering process to make things easier. Whoever took our order was quite talkative. Not usually a big deal, but when im trying to order, I need room to speak. I manage to get through the order, and make sure she heard that we want both sandwiches with cheese. She says yes, and we move forward to pay. Very busy day, to be expected at breakfast time. No big deal, we are pretty patient people, especially with service employees.
We pay no problem and move to the pickup window. I get my coffee, the color looks a bit off, but its also been a while since ive gotten it. I shrug it off. We get the bag with the food, and we always make sure to check for cheese because it is an upcharge, and if we pay for it, we want it. Theres no cheese on either. We grab the attention of the worker who handed us the food and kindly ask for them to have cheese since thats what we ordered. She apologizes, we smile, and she goes to tell them to make it with cheese. The manager comes over.. uh oh. Shes very rude, telling us we didnt order it with cheese. Now, I can be a forgetful person, but never eith ordering. I always practice what I say before I say it, and same with my mom. We both know we ordered with cheese and made sure the employee who took our order knew we wanted cheese. We always double check before moving to the pay window. We triple check when we get the order. We explain that we did order it with cheese, and the manager proceeds to tell us off, saying we didnt, and to take our food. This wouldn’t be an issue normally, if there was kindness with this interaction. Nothing but rudeness from her. My mom gets frustrated and tells her, still reasonably toned, “well if theres no cheese on the order ticket, thats an employee issue, not ours. We always order with cheese, and she said with cheese before we paid” to which the manager kept trying to tell us we didnt order with cheese. No offers to fix the order, no offers of compensation, nothing whatsoever. Manager even goes so far as to say that the line is long, insinuating that we’re a bother for trying to fix our order… Ultimately, my mom tells them to give her a refund, and we’re told to pull up out of the way. My mom goes inside to get the refund, and comes out in a terrible mood, explaining just how rude the manager was. We leave.
When we get home, im looking at the return receipt trying to find a name. There isnt one. On top of that, when we paid we didnt get a receipt. So now, we dont have the initial payment receipt, and we dont have a name. I call the location, and get two names. Now, im not entirely sure who it was for certain. The names I got were Alyssa and Oshna. That woman we spoke to while there was of (assumingly) Latin descent, and with an accent, so id assume Alyssa.
Mind you, they lost a 10 dollar order over a one dollar issue. Cheese is $0.50 each, so a dollar and some change from tax. Very sad..
We had a mobile order, however, we all know you can not order fountain order on the app. SO I tried to order two large waters.
Possibly the cashier misunderstood or was trying to be kind and said no charge for the water. We said sure, thanks.
HOWEVER, the (I assume one in charge) proceeded to complain on is trying to get the monopoly stickers “for free” which is ridiculous. I do not care to spend the $1-2 to buy water. It was a whole thing of complaining to one another and dumped the water to another cups to “switch” without a sticker.
Extremely rude. Ask us to pay, which I tried, OR simply kindly say you can not get the sticker OR ask your coworker to let you take over and do it.
It always takes a large amount of time there as well. I would give a 0/10 and just drive to a different McDonalds and not waste your money on rude service.
I can’t leave this one alone, I just went through and got two ice cream cones and it was $6.11. How is an ice cream cone $3 at McDonald’s that’s the same price as a quart of ice cream at the grocery store. This location half the time makes craptastic fries, and is straight up gouging level prices on a freaking ice cream cone. The parody jokes about McDonald’s ripping people off post covid is extremely evident when you see the price increases especially considering before covid they were 50 cents….
