They gained a star! After my 5 year absence I finally returned and enjoyed the Happy Hour atmosphere and fun decorations including the beer cap art by the bar. Very friendly but way overworked bartender (kitchen must be overworked too as appetizers took quite a while) and some tasty appetizers like the loaded fries and popcorn chicken at Happy Hour prices, but alas, no wings so had to pay full price for them and yeah they were good, but like all places now they just aren’t worth the $. The draft beer selection was good but when trying to enjoy the aroma, all I got was detergent scent! What a disservice to Oak Creek’s Nut Brown Ale. I’m glad to know they have clean glasses, but they need to look into improving that rinse cycle. I thought it was just my glass, but my partner had the same experience and had the bar been less busy and we didn’t have a time deadline to get to the play next door we would’ve requested fresh pours. Very disappointing to have the beer experience ruined, but heck, at least it was at Happy Hour pricing so we were somewhat consoled.

I’ve had a good time with great food every time we have been here. The crispy fried chicken sandwich is the best I’ve had in a very long time. Shanda was our waitress – she did a fantastic job. Love this place, and would recommend to anybody

The hand breaded buttermilk chicken is soooo good. I can’t try anything else. The only thing I change is what sauce to have with it. I do wish the sauces were hotter but they have amazing flavor. My family has had the chicken fingers, wings, Philly cheesesteak and all the appetizers lol. Try this place you will love it. They have trivia on various nights for a little entertainment.

Service was friendly and relaxed. Most things were very prompt. We went early afternoon which for a bar like this I would assume was their slow time so everything was moving a little slower but that was fine because the food was absolutely awesome! There were so many things on the menu we want to try that we have to go back. It’s not particularly cheap but the food seems higher quality so the price is fine by my book.

The owner of the Surprise location is one of the worst restaurant owners I have ever seen. Her attitude and customer service is terrible. If you are looking for bad service go to this restaurant and she thinks its no big deal you wait and you never get the correct food! Shame on you hurricanes corporate for having a franchise owner like this!

I’ve tried a burger and chicken tenders. Both are tasty, as are the fries. My dog scarfed down her doggy shepherd’s pie, too. Staff is friendly and the service is quick.

We’ve been here around 4-5 times so I’m not sure how I missed a review, but we came this Sunday afternoon a year away to give them another try after a horrible last visit where service was zero and food mediocre at best. First time here was great, but each time after has just gotten worse. Sunday we came without our kids and decided to sit at the bar and see if service was better. We opted for just chips and salsa and some beer. Bartender was nowhere close in sight for a few, but we quickly realized he was running to the kitchen etc at times to help out. They seemed understaffed. Once he saw us he was good and we had everything fairly fast. Beer options weren’t great for me, but I like sours which they don’t offer so closest was bottles Angry Orchard. Prices were fair, but I think we’ve just established this spot isn’t for us. More of an elderly crowd and service slow.

Horrible service and horrible food if I was the owner I would take a step back and really consider my future with that staff he has there especially the kitchen staff. I am very disappointed with them. I frequent there all the time and it was so bad the server only came to our table once to check on us and never asked why the food was untouched. My 5 year old could make Mac and cheese better then them. It was cold and from a box with added shredded cheese that made it nasty. They need to change the oil in their fryers the chicken tenders came out very dark and burnt. I understand people want to save money but don’t cut corners with people’s food and health. My burger was so char broiled it was not edible. Come on SCOTT fix these problems and we will come back. Also the table was dirty along with the booth seats. You can watch the staff standing around on their phones. If I owned the place Scott I would make the servers have sections not bouncing them all over the restaurant and even outside. That makes it hard on them to focus on what guests that they have.

Ordered garlic parmesan fries and calamari for starters and then coconut shrimp tiki tacos. We been here 7 years ago and always coming every Sunday with the deaf group. Food are delicious. I highly recommend this place
