Staff was friendly but they served me a burnt toast. This is average dinner foods, I admire their aim to be mostly gluten free and have various vegan options. I just wished they had savory and sweet menu instead of it being fixed to just savory or sweet. However for the sweet entrees options you can add certain sides to but for a hefty price. Example 3$ for one egg.

Overall it was a neutral experience not worth going back for, except maybe to look at the pastries which looked pretty good.

I’ll start by saying if I had looked at the menu before coming I might have said no thank you. I’m a sausage and bacon kind of guy and it was breakfast time. I’m very happy to say I’m glad I didn’t poohpooh this place! It was summer and it was busy. They have a lot of servers, so you are never without coffee and water refills. The menu? They are vegetarian or vegan. Everything. But I had an omelette with “soysauge” and it was absolutely delicious! Came with roasted potatoes on the side. Wife had waffles with fruit overflowing them and they were also delicious. Turns out, I’m happy and surprised to say I definitely would recommend. Very reasonably priced as well. They only do breakfast and lunch, just a side note.

Second time here. Difficult to choose because it all sounds good. I love being able to get a tofu dish that I didn’t fix myself. This also gives me ideas to try at home. Last time, I found the bakery items too sweet for my taste. Today I had a slice of banana bread with my entree (vs a roll or biscuit). They served it toasted with vegan butter– it was amazing!! My friend had their unique version of an omelet that uses hash brown potatoes, and loved her dill roll with vegan butter.

So charming. By the train station. And every item in the pastry case is vegan. Had the three something omelette with pico and vegan butter bc craving green chile and it was delicious, loaded with seasoned potatoes and a side of sourdough toast. Wish I had asked for salsa or more pico. Ordered ahead bc I had a meeting and it was ready for pick up when I got there. Also didn’t resist the pumpkin bread calling to me from the case. It was satisfyingly moist and so flavorful. Could it be anymore perfect? I think not.

One of my favorite spots in Eugene. I ate eat here with my family every time they come to town. Wonderful vegan and gluten free options. Wait times can be long so I usually get here before 9am and it’s not too bad.

Super affordable which automatically gives Morning Glory a good start. The “shredded potato shell” is hash browns with extra steps. They didn’t elevate the dish and made it a bit harder to find/create good bites. Over rated. Overall, tasty and filling for the price point. During a busy brunch rush, I noticed many tables sat open for long stretches as we were waiting to be seated, so the wait was certainly longer than it needed to be.

Side of the spiced tempeh was our absolute favorite. French toast and the morning glory sandwich were delicious too. Loved that I could skip the sweetener for the chai.

The staff were attentive and extremely kind. Even on a busy Eugene marathon weekend they remained cheerful.

If you get an outdoor seat and you’re lucky, you could watch freight trains pass by the Eugene Amtrak station

Cute diner with friendly service and atmosphere. Vegetarian with a lot of vegan options. They have a wonderful mushroom gravy and always use fresh, quality ingredients. This morning we had the Belgian waffles with fruit and the morning medley (sram led eggs and herbed roasted potatoes (Yum!) and toast with a side of avocado. Everything was really tasty- and generous portions- except our Belgian waffles arrived cold. It’s a reasonably priced, family-friendly, and charming spot to eat.

Poor food quality and service.

Pros:
Full coffee selection which were well made.
Food came out on time and the atmosphere was nice.

Cons:
The plates full of left over food from leaving customers should have been a give away but we decided to give them the benefit of doubt. We ordered 3 different meals which consisted primarily of dry, over salted potatoes. Omelet was dry, and over cooked and the waffle was uninspiring.

Based on the reviews, we had high expectations but were sadly disappointed. Server was polite but never checked in on us or asked how our food was.

This place is an absolute gem! They have Blue Lotus Chai which is one of my favorites, served as a latte. I had it with steamed almond milk and the froth was on point! The server was really kind and helpful making suggestions for my meal. But wow, the food is delicioussss. I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu. Yum.
