I came here because I dropped my car next door – I’ve passed by so many times but never came in. SO GLAD I did. Ricardo was warm and welcoming, Leslie was great – I felt taken care of. I lived in Mexico for 5 years and the culture and food became part of who I am. It was so nice to step into this place and have such a treat. The agua de Jamaica is authentic, the beans were better than I expected and everything tasted super fresh. I’ll be stopping by more often! Thanks everyone for making a hectic day (3hr wait for my car) enjoyable!

This is the second time I’ve tried to Get food from this place and they have shorted me what I ordered. When I tried to call and rectify the situation they were not willing to rectify. They just said that they would check the cameras. They were supposed to do the mixed meat platter and they only gave me one meat per platter.

The food is great. The beans are my favorite. I recommend the family meals as they come with corn tortillas and sides. The green salsa is also excellent. I was disappointed they didn’t have curb side service. When calling as suggested on the sign in the curbside parking space, there’s no answer before going to a recorded message to call back. But I do always come back because of the food.

At 8pm on a Tuesday, with basically no people in the store or in the drive thru, I am waiting over 15 minutes for a single item. I’m picking up a doordash order that needed to be delivered by 7:49, and I’m still sitting in the lobby waiting. An employee is standing on the other side of the counter in uniform, talking to a friend, who is out of uniform walking around behind the counter. Employees are ignoring people in line to stare at their phones and converse. As someone who has worked in food service for years, this is unacceptable and the worst service I’ve ever seen. I’m shocked the reviews for this place are so high. I will never accept a doordash order for place ever again, and I certainly won’t be eating here.
Edit: Turns out the order was sitting in a heater the entire time! I was told they would “start making it” twice, what a joke and a waste of time.

First off, this spot is very clean and the staff was rather nice. I was able to practice my Spanish with the staff which I thoroughly appreciate. I ordered two barbacoa tacos and they were decent. The barbacoa was not as tender as I expected. But overall, good customer service and a clean environment won me over.
