But the experience doesn’t end with the ambiance. The food and drinks are just as impressive as the décor. The seasonal cocktails aren’t just delicious — they’re works of art. Each drink arrives perfectly themed and stunningly presented, almost too pretty to sip (but definitely worth it once you do).
And I have to give a special shout-out to the Beef Wellington, which was the absolute highlight of the night — perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. I’d go back for that alone. The hot chocolate is another must-have, especially on a cold night — rich, cozy, and indulgent without being overly sweet.
Whether you’re looking for a festive night out, an unforgettable holiday date spot, or a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit, Hubbard Inn/Christmas Inn is a 10/10. It’s warm, cozy, and full of joyful energy — the kind of place that makes you feel the holiday spirit again, but with gourmet food and seriously good cocktails. I already can’t wait to go back next year. ✨
And for those who know and don’t know, the vibes and ambience here is always dope. If you are curious about the new drinks and fall menu, I suggest you swing by, especially to check out their happy hour which runs from 4 to 6 every day and last all day on Thursdays. Tell them that Bri from planes and plates sent you!
This time the bacon was burnt to a crisp, the beef “wellingtons” shown on GH were actually their empanadas, and more like minced meat in a soft, soggy pastry. Anyone who’s ever eaten beef wellington like I have would be outraged! There is no dullexes and was a waste of $. The spicy rigatoni pasta is large but very overrated. I will eat it only because it’s FOOD, after pouring a better red sauce on top. The lobster bites were incredible and the only thing I enjoyed this time! The sauce is complementary. Too bad you only get a few small pieces. I would’ve preferred a large order of those. They do arrive somewhat soft so I used the toaster oven. $75.98 spent before tip, when only worth the cost of the lobster bites. The peach pizza I liked on my 1st order 2 months ago isn’t even on the menu.
Also, have I always been getting a 4% surcharge? How do you even remove this for a 3rd party delivery app?
This may be my last time ordering.
Edit: If they wanted me to reach out, they would provide valid contact info. The phone line is just a robo call line
Downsides are it was an absolute zoo by 5 o’clock and $50+ for two cocktails is a lot
When we let our server know what these girls did & said, the manager came over and basically said sorry but nothing we can do. No extra food was served to the tables that did not get to eat (because these girls LIED and told everyone around them that the food provided for the influencers were for them only) and even name dropped the owner saying he told them this. And when they continued to harass the other tables, nothing was done.
And even not going off of politics, you are allowed to believe what you want, but Hubbard Inn did not care that this group of girls told everyone else in the same space that we were unwelcome and even tried to lie about what they said to make themselves the victim. Management defended them and instead of removing them from the space after they had clearly antagonized multiple groups of people, they allowed them to stay because they were friends of the ‘owners’. Allowed them to stay even when they created a hostile space therefore indirectly pushing us out.
One thing for sure, I will NEVER come back to this establishment and I’ve already posted about this experience on my socials as the disrespect from the managers were already too much on top of them protecting the group of girls who were harassing the other patrons here. When trying to explain what these girls had said to us, we were told to lower our voices. We were not shouting but just communicating them what was happening granted of course we were frustrated but how could we not be.
And I understand deescalation, but obviously defending these girls does not make any sense when 4 other groups are telling you that ONE group is antagonizing everyone else and we were told to just get over it.
As far as the other group of girls, we ended up going to another establishment and all bonding over what a horrible experience we had here.
If your owner is trying to get people to come through, make sure you don’t invite other guests who intimidate and harass the other groups to promote your restaurant. Seems easy enough. And if your invited guest effectively stopped the other guests from experiencing the event they were invited to, I would imagine at least try to compensate this somehow? I felt bad for the girls who showed up with the expectations of eating and did not get to and then were told that they could buy food if they were hungry.
And as a footnote, our server was wonderful and the only reason I am giving this a star. But management was exceptionally unremarkable and unhelpful.
