The service, particularly from our server Claudio, was absolutely excellent; he was attentive and provided great recommendations. We kicked off our meal with the Chistorras en Vino and the Galician Octopus. The flavors were incredibly authentic, rich, and fulsome, and the starter portions alone were more than enough for our group of three.
For the main event, we had the mixed paella. It was truly delicious—very flavorful, creamy, and packed with fresh seafood and chunks of fish. Although they say it serves two, the portion was so generous it could have easily fed four people! Even the little details, like the flavorful sauce on the calamari and the complimentary bread served with high-quality olive oil, were top-notch. We finished with their recommended Tarta de Santiago dessert, which was a great choice. Everything here, from the food to the owner’s hospitality, is fabulous. Everyone needs to go here!
The owner is truly an amazing person—he personally welcomes every guest, takes the time to talk with you, and even sings “Happy Birthday” to those celebrating. He shares homemade maracas and invites the entire restaurant to join in the celebration, creating a warm, joyful, and unforgettable atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself is very special, beautifully capturing the essence and charm of Spain. Every detail adds to the experience.
Valet parking is required, but aside from that small detail, this place is a must-visit. La Pata Negra is definitely the place to go in Miami!
I had their pre-fixed menu, with my husband, so we got to try a few of the entrees. For the appetizer, we had the croquetas and the salad. The salad was basic, the croquetas were good, but not good enough to make me go back. For our entrees, I had the pollo empanizado, which turned out to be bland chicken nuggets served with rice and potatoes, while my husband had the piglet, which was super greasy and also lacking in flavor. The desserts were okay, but we were very underwhelmed by the savory dishes.
The service was good, the ambiance is nice, but the food is not worth it.
Service was amazing, food to die for. The paella was the best I’ve ever had. Our table also ordered the lamb chops. So tender and flavorful. The creme brule was creamy with a perfect crust and the almond tart was so light and delicate. The thought and heart put into the whole dining experience is obvious. Shout out to the amazing chef. I felt like a cherished family member when he checked on our table. I will definitely be visiting again when in Miami.
