Let me be positive before criticising. The food is cooked to a high standard with imagination for each dish and good ingredients.

It’s a busy restaurant, about 25 covers for a Tuesday night. With locals and tourists.

I went for the tasting menu. My first mistake. The value appears in the a la carte, whose big plates of food I saw passing by. My first 4 plates of flavours of food were all themed around lobster. My second mistake of not reading the menu. Whilst each dish good in itself, lacks variety over all. One dish was a fail where the Lobster was sinewy and inedible.

The wine chosen read as a white bordeaux. Whilst made in Bordeaux it was anything but, it was actually a blend of Chenin and Colombard the grapes not even grown in Bordeaux. It was a vdf. Quelle horreur, a natural wine. I was given the chance to taste before commiting and whilst obviously natural, it was one of the few well made ones.

Service was rushed to the point where the first 2 dishes were explained, there after just put on my table. But they were amiable enough and made me feel welcome. An expresso was verging on the weak and a disappointment to end the evening.

I will return, I would love to try the a la carte. Everyone deserves a second chance.

First thing first, make a reservation. I went to this place on a Saturday night, basically arrived when it just opened without a reservation, and they only get 2 tables left for walk-in customers. Food is amazing, there was a dish with lamb sweetbread, basically the best dish I had in this 6-day trip in northern France, the pigeon dish was good too according to my wife. Nice place for dinner in Dinan, beatiful town too, btw. Oh, oh, it’s located at the higher part of the town, so if you can, please drive and park nearby, or there would be a lot of steep-slope walking…

Without a doubt the best meal I’ve had in France. The restaurant is tucked away on a charming vintage street. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The food was amazing. Every single course was a « wow ». I hope I get to return and try something else here someday.

Wonderful experience! Great prix-fixe lunch menu. The service was lovely and everyone greeted us with a smile upon arrival. The venue is charming and cozy; you will want to settle in and enjoy each tasty course. The desserts were the stand-outs. Would happily return!

Wow, wow, wow. What an amazing dining experience. This place serves unique, creative and exquisitely presented meals from the amuse bouche to dessert. Exceptional value – we had two entrees, two mains, fromage and dessert with drinks for just over 100 Euro..Can’t wait to return to Dinan

One of the best French restaurants we’ve visited in our 11-days trip in Bretagne and Normandy. Somebody on the street mentioned that restaurant and we dropped our reservation to other place and so happy we did that.
The food is creative, precisely prepared, watering your mouth just by looking at the plate, letting the tastes to mix in the palette and slowly reach their understanding. Delicious!
The décor is nice, as is the ambience. The service was very good too, despite us not speaking French. The prices are right for such a quality and creativeness. Excellent value for your money.
A real culinary jewel.
Highly recommend! Do not miss it!

A quick review for this Michelin Guide restaurant.
A good package. Exotic enough but not so much. Really worth a try.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The menu selection is small. Everything we had were cooked perfectly. Portion size is small but very rich. We enjoyed everything we had. Service is attentive. Highly recommend.
