We stopped into for lunch. We’ve been here before, but it had been quite a while and we were seated right away.
My sister and I both ordered the Blackened Chicken Taco Salad with Chipotle Ranch and let us tell you… if you love salads and a little spice, this is hands down one of the best salads around It’s flavorful, filling, and absolutely hits the spot. I highly recommend it.
And of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering their famous Water Street Brewery root beer As always, it was so tasty, rich, and full of flavor a must-order every time.
We do want to be honest and mention that we were a bit disappointed with the service this visit. Our waitress never came by to check on us, see how our meal was, or refill drinks and as you all know, great customer service means a lot to us.
That being said, this is still a wonderful place to check out. The inside is immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. We love the interior, the wood details, and the overall atmosphere. It’s a beautiful space to sit back and enjoy a meal.

Our visit was on a Thursday night with 5 friends. We took a round table in the corner and we were able to chat with less noise than at other tables. Our server did a nice job and got our orders right and served promptly. The drinks are a bit expensive but a full meal of a large Caesar Salad with two Margaritas with tip came to about $50.
This location is accessible in all ways but there may be a bit of chair or table shifting to get through the busy dining area.

Decided to give Waterstreet a shot after my other options for Valentine’s Day were booked up… and I will NEVER forgive myself for not coming here sooner.
I had myself the Big Mac smash burger and I must say, one of the best burgers I have eaten EVER. Cooked perfectly, very nice crisp on the bun, good amount of toppings. These chefs DO know what’s up.
My significant other ordered the Chicken Schnitzel dinner, she was reluctant to share a bite which I could understand why. It was truly delicious.
Of course had to have desert, chocolate chip cookie skillet, and once again NOT disappointed.
The staff and our waitress were VERY courteous and the food came to our table in record time even for a busy day as Valentine’s Day.

World Traveler
Our foursome stopped in for dinner during the recent cold snap to help cure our cabin fever. We were seated right in front of the fireplace with an inviting fire to warm our souls. The atmosphere here is rustic with a beamed ceiling and several wooden booths to provide for an intimate dining experience. Being a brewpub, we spent a few minutes perusing the beer menu and were served our choices in large, frosty mugs. The four of us chose a variety of entrees and all were served promptly by our server, Ryann. She was very efficient and checked on us frequently. I had the smashburger and onion strings while my wife had the chicken schnitzel. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices and stayed for a bit to catch up on our lives without being rushed out. We certainly will return in the future.

Gorgeous! The food is incredibly good and in good portion sizes! Wherever you choose to sit is going to be pretty. The service is outstanding. There’s trivia questions on the back of their menu that looks like the news paper!

We live close by, so we end up coming here often. Overall we have good experiences, the food is usually great, service is wonderful. Once in awhile, seems like maybe it’s not the usual chef and it’s not as good… not sure.

We celebrated Christmas Eve with our daughter and son-in-law. Food was delicious and service was excellent. (Thank you Devin!) We had a nice cozy table by the fireplace. Everything was decorated for the holiday. A perfect evening! Thank you Team Lake Country!

We were seated as soon as we walked in. The Host took us to an awesome table right near the fireplace. Our waitress may have been new – really had very little knowledge about the menu and couldn’t answer any questions we had. We had a party of two and had hot tea, diet soda, a cup of soup and two entrees. My hot bacon salad was very good. The soup was barely lukewarm and the hot sandwich was greasy and tasteless. Kind of a bummer. I’ve been here before and it was always a little better than today. Never stellar, but never this far off point.

We held my father’s 90th birthday party at Water Street Brewery in Delafield over the weekend and had the most wonderful experience! The staff was attentive and kind. We were in the “party room” with about twenty people and they were able to accommodate our every need (separate checks, etc). Thank you so much for making my Dad’s birthday special! I would highly recommend them for your small group events!
