Met friends here to have a good time. Which we did however I was excited to try the fried pickles yet the ranch they served tasted rancid. I don’t know what they put in it or if it was just bad. But it was horrible. The pickles were seasoned great though. I had a chicken wrap. It was ok, nothing to wow about. The pub was crowded, it seemed like a popular place. I wouldn’t mind going back for the fried pickles as long as I brought ranch from home.

Great small town family bar/grill. I couldn’t believe it, but the brisket was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten BBQ all over the country and the world. The brisket is steak cut, and so tender. I got the sweet bbq sauce and the spicy sauce to go with it. Both were excellent, and the spicy wasn’t really spicy. The potato salad was creamy and tasty, and the seasoned fries were good too. I had a bite of my girlfriend’s Hawg Wings, and they were delicious too. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

The food is great! Had the BBQ shoe and would recommend it to everyone. Service was good but we were there during the “get ready for dinner rush” so it was a little slow but not bad at all. They definitely have a bar feel so if you’re not into that there are “to go” options.

The food was really great, I had the brisket with beans and cole slaw with the sweet and spicy type bbq (I can not remember the actual flavor) accompanied by a couple of blue moon. The service was awesome with courteous waitresses. My only impasse is that for a bar it was incredibly quiet with muted televisions and no audible music playing; this may be a plus for some but I enjoy the sound ambience!

This side of town is the local’s area for dining. Call in for take out if youre on the interstate n def say Badfish sent ya.

We had not been here before and decided to stop in. Had exceptional service. The staff and patrons were very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. There was a very nice outdoor seating area, although it was to hot to sit outside today. We both had the brisket sandwich which was nice slices of brisket on a hoagie bun. Had different choices of sauces for the sandwich. I had the mild which was a sweet mustard sauce. My husband had the habanero sauce which I tasted, it was not hot like you would assume it to be. Both sauces had delicious flavor. The sandwiches came with potato chips. Looking forward to trying some of their other food items.

My wife and I met our granddaughters in Mt. Vernon for lunch, and my wife picked Frosty Mug Bar & Grill, which ended up being a mistake. The place is mostly a bar. There were a few tables out in a little area for families, but mostly a bar. The food was just barely ok. Two of the party ordered fish nuggets, and my wife said the fish was mediocre, and the homemade chips, some were crispy, and some were soggy with grease. Another party member ordered a chicken wrap. She said it wasn’t anything she couldn’t have made at home. I ordered a barbecue sandwich, which is what they’re supposed to be known for. There was lots of meat, but I could hardly taste any smoked flavor at all. It was almost as if the meat was cooked in a crock pot, although I’m sure it wasn’t. I also ordered baked beans, and as you can see in the picture, they look like a five bean salad. I’m not sure if they called them baked beans or barbecue beans. But I’m not sure how they can call them either. We had a friendly, knowledgeable server, and that made it a little better. For the five of us, with no alcohol included, the bill was $75.00. The place is old and a little bit dinghy. It’s pretty much a local hangout.

We ordered pork rines and they were so hard you couldn’t chew them. Waitress offered to get us more and I said just take them off the bill. Then we ordered i got cod chunks and fries. The cod chunks were so hard and dark brown. The French fries were rubbery. Hubby got hog wings and they tasted old. First time ever in all the years we have been coming the food was not good. Won’t be back!

Dessert first meant strawberry cheesecake which was covered with plenty of strawberries
I hardly had time to eat my strawberry cheesecake before the special made it in front of me which was a smoked chicken bacon ranch chef salad. Now i ordered it wanted to see how a bar would provide a salad and i could say this is the first time i’ve ever been fully satisfied by a chef salad Both in being full and in taste. Crumbled bacon shredded chicken shredded cheese With a wide Variety of different kinds of vegetables not just lettuce With 2 things of ranch on the side.

Such a good casual place to eat at! I love their Italian Beef and I am picky when it comes to that. My husband loves their 32 oz beer mugs or whatever size they are, I just know they are huge lol.
