My friends and I were very pleased with our trip to the New Kensington Kings.Food was good, the restaurant was clean and quiet. Even the bathrooms were clean and didn’t smell bad.Prices are relatively decent. Some meals are so huge without the huge price tag, and taste good.Andy Jo was our waitress today, and she was absolutely amazing. She provided wonderful service, patient with all the kids, very friendly and beautiful smile.

Absolutely beautiful & very clean. Great place to eat with a welcoming atmosphere . Trinity our waitress was quite friendly with her upbeat personality & infectious smile. Very helpful in making our choices with what to eat. The entire staff was wonderful. Come out & enjoy a meal at this Kings location. You will definitely love it. Amazing service!!! We had a special event that went late, and Kings stayed open with several servers, just for us!
Our server was Alex who was PHENOMENAL! Not only was she quick, attentive and very knowledgeable, but I found out from another family there with us, that she had been THEIR hostess about 6 hours earlier for dinner. Not only did she have a long shift, but she was just as bright, cheerful and attentive at the end of her shift as at the beginning when she was fresh! What a great hostess, and a great experience at this restaurant this evening!

The place never really improves. Its food is on par with McDonald’s but costs more. At least the staff is friendly.
*update* (9Feb22) The staff is still great. The new menu is a poor and then food doesn’t taste all that well. One thing you could say was breakfast was always good. Well they fixed that, they cut down the portion down. My toast was smaller than an English muffin. My sausage links were thin like 2 pencils. Don’t waste your money…

Megan was a fantastic waitress today, she was incredibly attentive and friendly. I don’t think my drink ever got below half full before she came with a refill. Excellent service from a very nice young lady. In all my years being a regular at Kings, I don’t think I’ve ever had service this good.

Food was not very good. We ordered over easy eggs and there was no yolk, Pancakes were burnt on the bottom, toast was burnt, coffee tasted like chemicals. Then I got a coke and glass was dirty. The waitstaff couldn’t help being understaffed but it took us 58 minutes to get our check after we finished eating.

We had a great waitress named “Montreal”. She was very pleasant and checked on us a couple of times while we ate, not hovering or bothersome but attentive. I had the turkey Eggs Benedict and it was prepared perfectly. I even got the manager’s attention and told her how great it was. The poached eggs were perfection. Great experience! Home cooking, friendly service and they have brownies!!!!

We went to Kings late Saturday night, about 30 minutes before closing time on 8-11-18 for coffee.. We thought the waitress would be a bit upset that we can in so late. On the contrary. She was very understanding and gracious.
A friend treated my wife and me to breakfast on Sunday 8-12-18. I had not been to Kings for breakfast in a very long time as my thoughts were that the quality and service were not what I had experienced in the past. I was pleasantly surprised as the service, food presentation and especially the service were excellent. I will be returning soon.
