10 stars! I chose this place for my friends birthday at the last min and baby they did not disappoint! Besides us, there were only two other parties and once they left we had the place to ourself. Our waitress was great, the drinks were great. The food was so good we had to meet the chef, she did her big one! I ordered the salmon croquettes, had a taste of the short rib hash, the steak, the salmon and shrimp grits, and the chicken with biscuits and gravy. EVERYTHING WAS 20/10

My friend brought me here for a quick bite of good food she said. Wow is all can say! Kind greeting, chill atmosphere and delicious food! We had the won ton shrimp tacos, Cajun pasta and seafood chowder. It slapped!! Great taste, consistency and full of flavor! The manager/owner lady was very kind and gracious. Check them out!

I’m vegetarian and came for a workshop. I wasnt expecting vegan options. So I had the salad and some rice. Then I realized the buffalo wings… actually cauliflower. Yes!
The owner asked me if I’d like to try the cauliflower steak.
SO GOOD!! So, so good. Spicy with a bed of carrots and peppers underneath -cooked, sweet. It was such a satisfying meal. No shame about taking a container to go – didn’t want to to waste what I couldn’t eat. I set it in the middle of the table and shared with the other ladies. Still had enough to take home.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My wife and I 1st time at this establishment and I have to say do NOT let the outside fool you. It is located in the suburbs of detroit and the building itself looks very old and beat down but on the inside it is completely renovated, they did an amazing job. We were sat out in the patio section which was really nice. It did get very hot though with the sun out, they need to work on getting more circulation back there on hot days. Our servers name we believe was Cayenne, she did a solid job of waiting on us and checked in frequently however towards the end of our visit she did disappear for a few when we needed the check but she was great overall and it started to get busy. The drinks were creative and flavorful. We got the bread and butter app to start with and it was light and flavorful. I highly recommend the short rib hash it was truly amazing! The salmon shrimp and grits was a little too fishy and the salmon over whelmed the dish. Overall nice experience and would recommend for people to try.

Presentation of food is beautiful, taste of food was outstanding, service was a little on slow side but our server was super friendly and polite, great music but was on the loud side. A 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill ( was not aware until the bill arrived). Happy hour is 4-6pm, highly recommend it so you can sample small plates and dessert at a discounted price.

Called in an order, I was told it would be 20 minutes. That’s turned into 35 minutes. I ordered sides. The Mac and cheese was good cornbread was sweet. Asparagus which was $10.00 I only received 5 it was ok. The yams were not cooked long enough and was very sweet.

Came in late night for a bite to eat and was welcomed with smiling faces and a great playlist. The bartender recommended a lavender lemon drop and it was a 10/10. My food was delicious as well. Great spot to check out any day of the week

My girlfriends and I had a great time at Ivy Kitchen & Cocktails in downtown Detroit! We absolutely loved the whole atmosphere – the vibes were on point, from the cool decor to the fire playlist! It’s also really cool to see that it’s a black, female-owned establishment, which just added to the positive experience for us.
We started by sharing a crab cake which was absolutely delicious, packed with real Maryland blue crab! For my main, I indulged in their wagyu meatballs and a the mac & cheese, which was seriously creamy and decadent. My friends were happy with their choices as well, which included the wonton tacos and a romaine Caesar salad with black truffle fries.
To drink, two of us got the lavender lemonade, which was perfectly sweet and so refreshing. It was an ideal drink for a summer evening.
