Was craving some brisket, haven’t dined with Lazybones for a few years, so I was definitely craving it. It was good. Nothing spectacular like I remember. 25$ a pound.
Pit beans were every bit as good as I remembered, all the scrap meats tossed in some tangy beans & throw in the smoker for another round of flavor. 5$ for a side.
I also remember the Lazybone Bbq sauce tasting better. Was a miss for me.
It’s hard to compete with flavors of yesterday’s taste buds. One can only hope that my timing was off & thats why It felt short of my personal expectations. Thanks for lunch non the less.
I would most likely try the ribs, fries & coleslaw on a return visit 🙂
Edit: 4/5 It seams I have may have visited weeks before Chef Demi has decided to close the doors. You did this area a great service with bbq, and I wish you & your family the best of luck Chef. Thank You

Beyond excellent. I’ve worked near here for years and just finally tried today. Carolina pulled pork sandwich with mild BBQ sauce. I wasn’t planning on eating it as a sandwich. But I’m sure glad I did because the bun melts in your mouth. Next time I’m getting extra BBQ sauce. Mild isn’t spicy but gives it a kick. Way too many potato wedges, but I’m not complaining. At first, I was a little disappointed in the size of the chili, but it’s packed with meat. I’ll be running over there this winter just To grab a bowl. Even had shredded cheddar on top.
Staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. They greet you at the door. Ask if you need anything else. I’ll be back!

The food was delicious ESPECIALLY the burnt ends and brisket…the best I’ve had so far. The sides were pretty good as well the lady at the register both times I came were really sweet and helpful with menu questions. Only thing I’d change is there is no room for dining inside. They do have outside spaces for seating though . Overall great food and staff.

This place just got a new regular! I ordered a 1/2 lb of pulled pork and choose the original sauce and was given a pretty fat serving! It’s juicy and falling apart like crazy! The taste is great! Worth every dollar. Can’t wait to go back and try the pig fries!

I’m usually very pleased with the food at Lazybones. However, tonight, I ordered 1 lbs of burnt ends. The burnt ends were just fat. There had to be 1/2 to 1/3 lbs of fat. Also, the parmesan fries were dry. This was very disappointing considering I drove 30 miles and paid $23. This is unacceptable.

Decided to try this place out. Pretty good bbq. Got the St. Louis spare ribs, Mac and cheese and beans. Definitely a must try on the mac and cheese. Ribs were good as well. Definitely get enough for the price

The rib tips were a disappointment. They were had too much fat on them, and they looked more like Korean style ribs then rib tips. I did like the coleslaw and the fact that it had more of a vinegar taste more than a creamy style. I thought the baked beans were fabulous but my husband said they were undercooked. We both agreed that the sauce on the baked beans was to die for. I would probably try them again but I wouldn’t get the rib tips.

I haven’t been here in a long time due to a change in my diet with less red meat & pork.. This was my treat! I had the trio meat combo with greens & macaroni & cheese & cornbread. I wasn’t disappointed, per usual meats were Juicy & sides were delicious although the beef brisket could’ve been a little more tender.. Nevertheless, i was satisfied, so thank you, to the cooks & staff for the service Restaurants in my opinion have been slacking for quite a while now & just don’t be worth the money but whewww, I’m glad that my cheat day was spent here Highly Recommended, portion, price, quality; 10/10‼️‼️

The amount of burnt ends you get for a 1/2 lb order is disappointing for the price. The flavor is extremely good but they aren’t tender…like chewing leather. The number of stars is for the pig fries. Those are phenomenal. The combination of everything works great together and you get a proper amount for the price. The service was friendly and it was pretty fast considering I didn’t order ahead. For everything in the pictures the price was $28 bucks. Fair price considering the meat was tough…you decide.
