We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely amazing, so attentive our glasses were never empty. The steak truly melted in your mouth, cooked to perfection, and the calamari was perfectly crisp and full of flavor. The atmosphere made the whole evening feel special and elevated. And the carrot cake…hands down the best I’ve ever had. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, can’t wait to come back!

Title: A Timeless Dining Experience at The Palm DC

Last night, I had the immense pleasure of dining at The Palm restaurant in Washington, DC, and I cannot emphasize enough what a fantastic experience it was. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The culinary offerings were simply outstanding. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality and flavor. Whether you’re a meat lover or a seafood aficionado, The Palm has something to satisfy every palate. Every bite I took was rich and delicious, and it was evident that the kitchen prioritizes only the finest, freshest ingredients.

What truly elevated my dining experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by Michael Melore and his incredible team. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made me feel not just like a patron but a valued guest. From thoughtful menu recommendations to timely check-ins, the staff’s professionalism and warmth were commendable.

The Palm is not just a restaurant; it’s a classic dining experience that never disappoints. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an exquisite meal paired with impeccable service. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, The Palm DC will undoubtedly exceed your expectations. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It’s a nice quiet restaurant with great service but that’s it. I had high hopes for this restaurant till I had my food. The food is on par with restaurants like Outback. I personally think even long horn has better steaks for the price. There are much better restaurants in DC for the prices Palm charges for the steaks and sides. My steak, sides and the key lime pie were just ok or even mediocre in my opinion! Nothing special!

I had high hopes for this restaurant especially since the steak was excellent, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambience was really enjoyable. Unfortunately, finding a hair in my Caesar salad completely ruined the experience. I understand that accidents happen and I don’t believe it reflects the restaurant’s standard practices, but it was enough to turn me off for now. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Had a client dinner at The Palm in DC/DuPont Circle on 1/14. Spectacular. The best service experience I’ve had in a VERY long time.
Michael(GM) greeted our table and asked where we had parked. We mentioned we had been able to find a spot on a side street near the restaurant. He asked for our keys and said he would personally have his valet retrieve our vehicle and move it to their parking deck adjacent to the restaurant and have it brought out front when our evening was complete. WOW!

Wait service was amazing from food and wine recommendations to overall professionalism of their staff. We had a large group of 11 and their team handled it with ease.

And of course the food was amazing. This will be our go to spot for client dinners in DC going forward.

I had an outstanding dining experience at The Palm, and it delivered on every level from start to finish.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and exactly what you expect from a top-tier steakhouse. The lobster was equally impressive: fresh, tender, and delicious. Every bite felt intentional and high quality, the kind of meal you remember long after you leave.

What truly elevated the night, though, was the service. Sean, our server, was next level. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. His timing, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows.

Between the exceptional food, the polished atmosphere, and world-class service, this was exactly the kind of experience you hope for when dining at a place like The Palm. If you’re coming here, ask for Sean—you’ll be taken care of properly.

I’ll absolutely be back.

While steakhouses aren’t typically my preferred dining choice, I was exceptionally impressed with the variety of offerings at the palm. Our large group was accommodated in a private, glass-enclosed room, a unique and visually appealing space that provided an unobstructed view of the surrounding D.C. streets. The staff efficiently managed our sizable party, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience, which was particularly noteworthy. I opted for the fish, which proved to be surprisingly delicious. For dessert, the donuts with dipping sauces were a great conclusion to the meal.

From the beginning everything went south, we spent about 10 minutes wondering if the place was open. It looked like it was close. Nobody came out to tell us or let us know it was open, I decided to open the door, and for our surprise they saw us wondering and not even had the decency to ask, when I asked if they were open the lady told us with a smirk ” until 9pm” in that moment we should have leave the place, after that we were seated and it was all good. We ordered oysters, bottled water, and a couple of mules, for main plates we ordered as Ossobuco and branzino. The branzino got to the table, but our waitress seemed to forget about my plate the Ossobuco, after 10 minutes I asked about my plate and for my surprise he told me that he misunderstood and did not place my ossobuco. This is the worst customer experience for the level of this restaurant. Also, the restaurant needs an ASAP renovation of those cheap ceiling fans and chairs need to go! Don’t waste your time here.
