It’s amazing that there’s still a place to get a good burger at an excellent price. The burger deals are fantastic. The fries are very thin and small but they’re still pretty good. Service is slow but that’s common everywhere nowadays. I enjoy my visit and I’m sure I’ll be back. The eating area is clean and spacious. There’s nice seating outside with umbrellas. We took our dog and everyone enjoyed the day.

Decided to stop for a milkshake and it smelled so inviting, ended up ordering a burger as well. The restaurant was clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Food was fresh and the steamed buns really tied all the flavors together. Best milkshake I’ve had in decades! Will definitely be back

Food was very good! Came out fast, hot n fresh. Recommend the Cajun seasoning on fries! UPDATE 9/13/21 – Just got the garlic butter burger, and it might be the best burger I had ever ordered anywhere! (I’ve been all over the country) Was just absolutely perfect (For me) in every way. If you don’t like a moderate amount of garlic, you probably want to try something else. I don’t go to this location often because the more common traffic routes I use, take me right around it so I never see it! But I’ve never been disappointed here. My orders are always custom to some extent, and they’ve never got me wrong. The fries again, with cajun seasoning, 2pm during a “slow” time, were still perfect and fresh. And its cheaper than most the other places around for more food! Really need to go here more often. 10/10 recommend THIS LOCATION off 231 in Panama City.

This was my second time eating at this franchise, the first was in Biloxi and I couldn’t be more impressed, however, I wasn’t impressed with our first visit to our local establishment. I’ll start by saying, my wife and I were very hungry when we arrived, I’m not sure if that played into my disappointment. We walked in and a sign said, wait to be seated. We stood there, patiently, as there was no one at the hostess stand. We saw loads of empty tables and felt like seating ourselves but we remained patient. Finally, we were lead to a table and my wife immediately swapped chairs as hers had lots of crumbs on the seat. We then commenced to sweeping the left over crumbs off the table and on to the floor. A server came over and took our orders and my wife and I continued to converse. The more time passed, the more we thought, this burger better be than Outback or TGIF, or any restaurant. More time passed and we thought about leaving. We couldn’t understand what was taking so long. It wasn’t packed, they have a drive-thru service, we just couldn’t understand. Finally, after what seemed like 20+ minutes, our food arrived. My burger looked great but it tasted just ok. It was a western bbq bacon burger. If it wasn’t for the bbq sauce, it would’ve been the most bland burger I’ve ever had. They do have a bottle of seasoning for fries/burger available on the table, maybe I should’ve used it. My onion rings were fantastic, otherwise, the score would be lower. They were hot, crunchy and juicy. My wife’s fries were barely warm and had no flavor. We also ordered a shake to go. The shakes came with a straw and a spoon. I have no idea why they give you a straw. Our shakes were spoons only for the first 20 and then you can finally use a straw. The staff was courteous and always checked in on us to see how our meal was and whether we needed anything or not. Disappointingly, for a fast food joint, it was far from fast. Had the flavors blown my mind away, I would’ve said that the wait was well worth it, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. Time of day, approx 5:30 pm.

I love steak n shake but this place is horrible.. slow service everything on my order was wrong and when it was sent back to be fixed I hate to wait until they made others people food while my family sat and waited to eat their food. My husband is allergic to tomatoes and they put tomatoes on his burger sent it back to be made again and all they did was take the tomatoes off it still had ketchup on it smh I wont go again

We really like this place. Burgers could be bigger. Shakes are all bomb. Not sure if they are a shake mix or ice cream tho. We came here a couple times and the lobby was closed. Not sure if they had a staffing issue. And what time are you came through the drive-through and nobody ever took our order so we left.
