Haven’t been here for a few years, so we went today for the lunch buffet. IT WAS EXCELLENT!! Love their Chicken dishes, from Taquitos to Fajitas, the spice was just right, it is comfortable here, and everyone is friendly. It is also VERY CLEAN which is appreciated, including the restroom.

We there tonight with my husband we’ve been looking for a good restaurant and decided we would try it. The waitress came over and got our drink order brought them back and we waited for about 10 mins and ordered an appetizer, about 10 mins later she came back and took our order we asked about the appetizer nothing she did not write anything down. My husband ordered a dish with mole it only tasted of chocolate. I ordered the shrimp Chimichanga and asked for it to be fried no tomatoes. Our meals came out I had one chimichanga it was supposed to have 2 I told our waitress I asked for no tomato she took it back and less than 2 mins later something came out that looked like 2 burritos covered in queso. We tried to find our waitress nothing she came back I told her about the food being wrong and asked about our appetizer a different waitress had to tell her what we were asking because she did not understand us. The only time she asked about our drinks was before she gave us our check we paid and left. I’m not saying don’t go to this establishment, what I am saying is be mindful of reviews and make your own opinion. For us however we will look for another place.

Wow !! What a meal !! And our Sunday school class decided to come here after church !! We loved being a part of the restaurants’ celebration of Cinco de mayo !! Everyone loved their meals !! I had Huevos Conchorizo…Mex sausage, and scrambled eggs. Wow !! Someone had Talapia, and another had chicken soup !! All was superb, and the staff was very attentive even though it was really, really busy !!
Hadn’t been here in while and will definitely come back soon !!
Also, the restaurant was all decked out with Cinco de mayo decorations !! Just a real lovely time was had by all !!

This was the closest restaurant from where I was staying in town, I went on a Saturday evening and it was a very pleasant visit, Maile did a great job taking care of me and the ceviche was really good. It has a nice bar area and their pieces were fair, I would definitely visit again.

Chips and salsa are always fabulous. The salsa has a good and spicy kick to it. The food portions are huge. I ate about 3/4 and took the rest home. The food itself is fabulous. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great.

We enjoyed eating here for the first time. The “El Rod’s” restaurants in Blacksburg are very popular. The staff here were very kind and attentive. The food was great- the salsa, margarita and all of it. The tilapia was very well flavored. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The steak, chicken and shrimp nachos were enjoyed. The taco and enchilada were great.
The restaurant was very clean.
A family member brought us here and only made brief, confidential mention of my daughter’s birthday and they came out to sing and celebrate! It was so nice and so much fun!
