I have waited an entire year and a half before leaving this review because I keep excusing atrocious customer service just so I don’t malign this place unjustly but today was just too much. I came in around 7:45 am and I was the only patron here. I said good morning and was met with an icy stare. Repeated good morning because I’m thinking she didn’t hear me, but icy stare again. I ordered and left a tip even though I knew I would regret paying for this service as other countless ocassions. I live across the street from this place and could be here every day if it weren’t for it having the absolute WORST service in the entire Mosaic District. I ordered an avocado toast and coffee, paid $22 after taxes and waited for my food. I get a call from behind the counter to come pick up my food (I wonder then what the tip is for) and I thought I was being nice when I said “oh don’t worry about a bag. It’s for here” to which she replied “well every order here is to go, so…” Then I opened it and could not believe it. The toast had almost NOTHING. I had just paid $22 for a slice of bread, an egg and maybe half a tablespoon of avocado spreaded and looking as if my kid made it. I almost ate it and said nothing but this was too expensive so I told icy girl about it and she answered “it’s avocado” as if that meant anything. I said it again and grudgingly she offered to remake. She then gossiped to girl behind the counter who does nothing but text while the place has dirty tables and garbage on the floor and text girl goes to barista guy and jokes about it. Icy girl felt the need to punish me , obviously because she took over 10 minutes to get another piece of toast ready.
Don’t bother going to this place. There are countless reviews about their service and they always answer with “that’s unacceptable and we will train better” but this place has a knack, an absolute great talent at hiring the worst servers in the area. No matter who works here, they act as if they are doing you a favor by taking your order. Barista guy was the only one to say thank you, btw.
Icy girl, you seriously have no business being in the service industry. You need a remote job where people don’t see your rude demeanor and lack of smile and manners. Btw, the picture was the remake. I wish I had taken a before one.

This is my first time purchasing something, although I have walked through here before.

The customer service is a little non-existent here, they don’t necessarily go out of the way to greet customers.

They have a great selection of pastries, none look like they are freshly made in-house. Although the coffee cake looked really cute and good, I decided to skip it. They also sold Dolcezza ice cream in the freezer.

I ordered a small hot dulce de leche latte with almond milk. The drink was amazing, and very strong. However, the starting price for the drinks are a little expensive, and that doesn’t include additional espresso shots or non-dairy milk.

There is plenty of parking available in the parking garage as well as parallel parking (they tow if overstayed).

Would I return? Probably to try the coffee cake.

Does this look like the advertised King Leo Peppermint Sundae? You judge…the barista proudly informed us that it doesn’t have to look like the picture on the counter…and I pre-tipped the guy. Buyers beware….we won’t return without a Mgmt response.

I had such a wonderful time at this coffee shop. Sarah was absolutely lovely and truly made my day, making the whole experience feel extra special. I got a shot of espresso, which was excellent and a matcha latte which had beautiful latte art.
You can really feel the heart that goes into this place, and Sarah is a big part of that. I’ll definitely be back.

Great coffee and have been supporting them for years , however there is never a space to sit, if I pay $6 for a small latte I am also paying for availability for seating so I can do work. Two days in a row I came and there is no seating and many are just one person taking up the two seats with their bags and clothes so no one else can sit. This morning at 9:3 there are 4 tables taken by one person out of the 6 seatings available. Asked if there was a limit in how long the seats can be taken up for and they said no. Unfortunately as great as the coffee is, I like the convenience to be able to sit enjoy my coffee and do work which this place does not provide. I recommend other places due to this In inconvenience. Hope they improve their policies so everyone can enjoy this place.

Cute little spot at Mosaic district. On a chilly night 33° temp calls for a hot chocolate. Ordered Hot chocolate with oat milk, mint tea and apple cider. It was busy but not too busy. People were enjoying the chilly weather, music, Xmas lights and sipping some hot cuppa. Hot chocolate was good, not too sweet. Would like to try their iced lattes some day ( in not so chilly weather).
Overall great spot for hot beverages.

Bright and relaxed cafe that serves good coffee and pastries. I tried their almond croissant which was very sizable, and not too buttery or sweet. The flat white both regular and decaf are coffee forward, balanced and slightly acidic which is good. The chocolate croissant was nice as well and similarly not too buttery or sweet. The chocolate inside is dark and high quality.

Almost $16 for THIS avocado toast is actually insane – one piece of toast and sloppily made. They’ve also raised their prices across the board and any drinks are now almost $9. This was definitely my last time coming here, prices are absolutely not worth the mediocre drinks/food.

Coffee was ok, almond croissant was good, felt fresh and flaky. All the tables inside were taken by people working on their laptops so it’s a working spot which is nice. The service was good, very friendly and the place is nice. Little and cozy and has a big space for outside sitting.

I expected more from this coffee shop since it’s right in the middle of Mosaic. The coffee is just average and on a Sunday morning at 10am the tables were pretty dirty. Ordinary coffee + tip is $6+. Why they ask for a tip, I don’t know. You have to pick it up when they yell out your name. Is tipping for that?
