The food was amazing, every single dish they served us. The octupus was one of the best ones I have ever tried, the slow cooked pork was super tender, and the salad with the mussels and scallops was something very unique and out of this world. The potato and choriI dish was good but standard, as well as the chocolate cake. The other desert combined azing flavor of white chocolate, mojito ice cream with seaweed and fewore things I can’t even remember. They also made the “tinto de verano” from scratch and it was super good!
Service was one of the highlights of this place. The owner/chef treated us directly, they switched plates/silverwear a few time, the order of the dish serving was perfect and personal very kind.
The place is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere and has a very nice vibe, beautiful rural design and all very tidy and clean.
Value for money – 10/10.

We were greeted by the chef who was very friendly and excited we decided to stop by! While he didn’t speak much English (and we couldn’t speak much Spanish) he helped us with the menu and made some great recommendations. The food was delicious and so beautifully plated. Dessert was amazing too!
While this might not be a restaurant most pilgrims stop at during their walk, it was one of the highlights of mine and would recommend everyone stop here for lunch!
At first the manager didn’t seem to want to serve me (scruffy cyclist on the camino de santiago) then he warmed to me and was very welcoming and attentive. Food was truly gastronomic and typical galician, first time I try pig’s ears. Most of all the manager took such a pride in the food and my experience as a diner that it was an unforgettable experience. Bravo!
Pedimos lo siguiente:
Aperitivo de la casa: perfecto para entra en calor, caldo de repollo casero 10/10
Almejas: Buen producto, eran las mas grandes que hemos probado, quizás espesaríamos mas la salsa. 8,5/10
Entrecot: la carne estaba muy buena y el punto optimo pero quizás lo sacan un poco frio, aún asi estaba exquisito 8,75/10
Solomillo de cerdo a la parrilla: Buen punto y buen sabor, un básico bien trabajado 9/10
Chocolate blanco con torta de arroz y helado de mojito: No nos ha gustado pese a que aparentemente parecía buena apuesta, quizás demasiado pimenton. 4/10
Al habernos atrevido a probar ese postre y dar nuestra opinión al propietario, han decidido no cobrarnoslo, cosa que se agradece enormemente.
