The wife and I stopped by for lunch while our vehicle was being serviced at near by dealership. There were some lunch specials going on so we ordered the chicken taquitos at the recommendation of the waitress and an Italian sausage pizza. I will say when the pizza came out it does not look impressive, but it was very good. It had a nice crispy crust, a flavorful blend of cheeses, everything was balanced very well with the pizza. The taqutios were a great recommendation as well. This was a perfect lunch and great place to hang out with until our car was ready. I am definitely looking forward to going back again when I am in the area.

This is one of those restaurants that is always on point. They create unique dishes that are always well-seasoned, healthy, and consistent. I have been coming here for 25 years, and I always know I’m going to have a great dining experience.
There are other good restaurants out there, but if you keep going back, they will eventually disappoint you. Sammy’s never disappoints. The location on Rainbow and Sahara also has a 24-hour tavern with a full menu.
They introduce new dishes all the time, so if you don’t visit for a few months and come back, you’ll always find something new to try. My new favorite is the lamb chops — they do an amazing job and completely eliminate that gamey taste with their balsamic glaze. Other favorites include the tequila chicken fettuccine pasta and the shrimp angel hair.
Their appetizers are also excellent. If you come with kids, make sure to get their sundae for dessert — it’s super fun for kids.

Alexis was our waitress and she was nice, friendly, professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Everything you would want in a good server. She should really be acknowledged and rewarded for her good service.
The place was nice and clean, which just made this visit all the better. We will be back the next time we are in town.

Absolutely unacceptable and humiliating experience
My experience at Samy’s Pizza was genuinely one of the worst I have ever had in a restaurant.
I was sitting at the bar with a colleague. While my colleague briefly went to the restroom, a man approached and aggressively demanded to take the seat, even though it was clearly occupied. His attitude was rude, confrontational, and unnecessarily hostile, turning the situation tense and uncomfortable.
What made this experience truly unacceptable was not only this customer’s behavior, but the complete lack of professionalism from the staff and, especially, the manager (a blonde woman working at the time). Instead of intervening, de-escalating the situation, or protecting the customers who were already seated, the staff’s only response was to ask me to leave the bar “to avoid problems.”
I was not offered another seat, no alternative solution was proposed, and no empathy was shown whatsoever. I was essentially told that if I wanted to eat, I would have to order my pizza to go, effectively removing me from the space after being verbally threatened by another customer.
The entire situation was humiliating, unfair, and deeply disrespectful. It felt like the typical airport scenario where customer service disappears because they assume you’ll never come back.
I do not recommend this place at all. If you value basic respect, professionalism, and feeling safe as a customer, avoid this establishment.

Loved this restaurant when I lived in the apartments (2013-2022) right behind the restaurant. Normally i got my food to go while I had a drink in the bar. My favorites were two of the pasta dishes: green fettuccine with the tequila lime sauce and the angel hair pasta with shrimp and veggies. I went 1-2 times a week for a number of years. The chopped chicken salad was beyond yummy and the pizzas were awesome. Our server was great BUT, the very yellow lighting in the restaurant was not good. It made the food and companions a funny color and my eyes hurt by the end of the meal.
