We recently had the pleasure of utilizing the catering service from India House for our summer backyard party, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience! The food was not only delicious but also perfectly spiced and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delightful burst of flavors, showcasing the high quality of the ingredients used. The food truck experience was fantastic; all snacks and dinner items were served warm and freshly cooked. The enticing aroma wafting from the food truck created a fun and inviting atmosphere for our neighbors.
I would like to give special recognition to the servers and cooks, who made our experience even more enjoyable with their friendly demeanor and exceptional service. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the event.
Additionally, a shout-out to Dharam Ji, who was instrumental in making this event a great success. His dedication and effort truly made a difference, and we are grateful for his time and commitment.

I ordered samosa chaat from India House through Uber Eats(18 Sep, 2025) and was really disappointed. The samosa inside was uncooked and the dish didn’t taste good. I have visited this restaurant before, and the service has always been nice — the staff are friendly and polite. But no matter how good the service is, if the food is not cooked properly, it ruins the experience. I hope they improve the quality of food for delivery orders.

The buffet offered a great variety of dishes—everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. It’s often hard to find a place that accommodates a large group with kids, but the staff was wonderful.
The highlight for the little ones was the fireplace area; it provided such a warm, cozy vibe that kept them happy and occupied while the adults actually got to catch up. If you’re looking for a spot that combines authentic flavors with a welcoming, family-friendly environment, this is it. We’ll definitely be making this a regular spot for our group hangs!”

I’d give it a 5 for atmosphere definitely vibrant. The food, though, was quite basic. There were plenty of options, and I enjoyed the starters, but the main course was disappointing. I had high expectations, especially since I came all the way from Saskatoon.
Service was okay, not very fast but reasonable. The washrooms could use more attention they weren’t very clean.
Overall, it was an average experience, but I’d still be willing to give it another try in the future.

We came here for an Indian lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was flavorful and well prepared, and everything tasted amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean, perfect for a relaxed meal. What really stood out was the customer service — the staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. We were treated extremely well. Will definitely come back again!

I’ve been to the lunch buffet several times – great selection, and I appreciate that they offer beef. Excellent value, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, working hard to make it enjoyable. There’s another Indian buffet nearby, but India House is far superior in my opinion.

I would have given 6 stars for this restaurant. First of all the lighting and the seating arrangement is calming. The staff are professional and respectful.
As for the food I recommend the buffet. I have become a regular at India house because the food is good! I was also impressed by the desserts section. Having an ice cream machine is a game changer and very sanitary. Overall job well done, and I have not even explored the order menu yet.

I’ve visited India House for their delicious buffet several times prior, but this last visit’s hospitality was sorely disappointing. I visited for the lunch buffet on Sunday at 3:00pm. Only after letting the waitstaff know that I would be enjoying the buffet was I informed that the buffet would be closing at 3:30pm so that they could change over to the dinner menu for the evening.
Nowhere in the restaurant hours nor online was this posted for patrons. Online it only states that the buffet is offered from 12pm-10:30pm. I would have liked to have stayed and enjoyed my meal, yet felt rushed and as if I were not welcomed. The waitstaff even returned a second time and urged me to take more food as it was going to end soon. If staff meant that the lunch buffet would be ended and the dinner one would start later and we were welcome to help ourselves to both at the dinner price, why not communicate this? I would like to give this place thr benefit of the doubt here.
I paid for my meal and brought up the issue to the host and upon asking politely to put up a sign to properly inform patrons of the daily buffet times was I told that I could stay and return back to the buffet. No further compensation was offered or provided.
Had I been informed that I would only have 30 minutes to enjoy my meal I would have chosen elsewhere and returned back to India House at a later time when I could enjoy my meal at my leisure. I won’t be returning and opting for an establishment who can clearly communicate their operational hours.
Hopefully someone in front of house operations will see this and offer some helpful coaching to their staff to avoid further miscommunications and post their buffet hours clearly in their public communications.

We went here for dine-in and the food was really delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the service made the experience even better. Our server, Roop, was very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place!
