I recently stumbled upon Maverick Biscuit in Taylor’s, SC on 11/30/2025 and I have to say, this place is an absolute gem that everyone needs to experience. It’s more than just a breakfast spot; it’s a genuine feel-good experience wrapped up in hot coffee and delicious food.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and bright. The service, however, is what truly sets this establishment apart. I had the pleasure of being served by Chantelle, a young lady who took my order with such genuine warmth and efficiency. She was incredibly sweet, and I can honestly say her smile alone is enough to brighten anyone’s day. It’s rare to encounter that level of delightful service, and it made my morning instantly better.
Now, onto the food and drink! Everything served was piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious. I ordered a standard coffee, and I was genuinely shocked—it was, without a doubt, some of the best coffee I have ever had. Rich, perfectly brewed, and exactly what I needed. ☕️
The star of the show, however, might just be the incredible sides. The biscuits themselves were fluffy perfection, but when paired with the house-made peach jam, they transform into something truly unforgettable. That jam is seriously “to die for”—sweet, tangy, and bursting with fresh peach flavor.

Was looking for brunch near Greenville and stumbled across a great option: Maverick Biscuit. You order at the counter and they serve the food to your table. I noticed on the way out that they also run a drive thru.
The Spicy Chicken & Waffles was exactly what I was looking for. Salty & Sweet (w/ a touch of heat). Slight spin a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Homemade waffles, well-breaded and fried chicken dipped in their Nash sauce (which was slightly spicy plus a little sweetness), topped with pickles. Decent amount of breakfast potatoes w/ a side of syrup & poblano ranch. — My fiance order The Hangover which was the buttermilk biscuit, fried chicken, bacon, scrambled eggs, candied jalapenos (nice touch), and their homemade gravy. If there’s a void in your stomach from last night… this will fill it
Otherwise caught a cup of coffee which was self-service and bottomless.
Only complaint, which was overheard & wasn’t even mine but couldn’t agree more: the cheese was cold and not melted on their biscuit sandwiches. Melted cheese without a doubt transcends the flavor and cohesiveness of a breakfast sandwich. It didn’t affect MY meal so it will not affect my review.
Overall happy with our choice and find their indulgent brunch creations worthwhile.

I made a pick up order and went to the drive-thru. Very kind employees and I ordered the biscuit and sausage gravy. First off,the biscuit is huge and buttery! And the sausage gravy was very savory and delicious not too salty . although I did add some additional black pepper. Over all 9/10. Rating for just The biscuit is a 10/10. Would definitely order again!

We were a little worried because the parking lot was almost empty at 9AM but I wanted to try it based on the fact that I wanted a good biscuit. It’s in the name, so we decided to stay. It was a great decision. The ladies were helpful and kind in answering my many questions.

Purchased breakfast for my Quality team this morning, and chose Maverick Biscuit based on a recommendation from one of my auditors. First time here and being someone with 17 years experience in food manufacturing, I always look at appearance and cleanliness when I visit a new restaurant. Very clean and organized establishment, great service, and the food was top notch! We had orders of chicken amd waffles, very berry pancakes, and one of the breakfast bowls with a side of the jalapeño grits. Everyone enjoyed their food, and I am planning to check out tje Inman location as well, since it is closer to home. Very excited to have a new establishment to put in our breakfast rotation!

Best experience ever!. I called first to check with procedures and the person who answered was not knowledgeable about celiac/gf so she got the manager. The manger was very educated explained that they would do the meat separately on a pan as it is cooked in the oven first then fried. He said I can substitute fried chicken for grilled chicken. They would change gloves and get stuff from the back to prevent cross contamination.And that they also have gf waffles that will take a little longer. I got the gf biscuit with cheese and egg and grilled chicken. I asked for the blueberry lavender jam and they got it from the back. It was so delicious my husband who is not gf said it was a great biscuit. It was so fluffy and tasted delicious. Highly highly recommend.
