Hoping she’s not a manager, because she’s here, every, weekday morning! I get being gregarious (she’s downright flirty) in the service industry. I was once a server, who worked for tips. However, in the last 9 months since moving to Buford last year, a particular barista has enjoyed flirting with my husband on a regular basis. He goes by Ben, but does all mobile orders by Benjamin, to avoid any confusion. She’s repeatedly referred to him as, “Ben-Jamin,” at the drive thru. Innocuous in itself, but it’s the obsession to make him repeat that back at the window before receiving his order that’s a little off. Today, 3.2.2026, she repeated a previous joke to him that is Highly Inappropriate!! She said she “tried to give him a BJ, but the system wouldn’t let her,” in labeling his coffee order. This was over the speaker. Once he drove up to the window, she was sure to repeat herself, face to face. He came home and immediately said he could never go back to this Starbucks location again. So I’ll just leave this little rating here, so the public at large can be informed. Then in my separate letter to corporate, I’ll make sure they know our displeasure.

Today I placed my order for pickup at 10:17 am. I then inquired about my order several times, and each time I was told to wait. After waiting for over an (HOUR) for my coffee to be ready, the manager asked me if I needed anything.

I told him I had been waiting for a long time, and they told me they would get to me soon. There was a complete lack of empathy and indifference on the part of the employees

Please be empathetic; our customers’ time is important!

I was at the drive through window yesterday (Valentine’s Day), and when the worker put the payment device out for me to pay, he said “it’s gonna ask you a question don’t worry I won’t look,” I selected no thank you for leaving a tip, and he said “good thing I wasn’t looking.” I found that incredibly rude. Tipping is optional, I’m in the drive through so you’re not doing anything extra (waiting a table,etc), and you also don’t know my financial situation. I won’t be coming here again.

Greatness
I visit this location very often to the point they greet me by name when I come in and leave. I usually sit in the same spot, set up, and approach the counter to order my drink. I usually see most of the same customers/employees there too which is always nice. So far my experiences have been good.

It didn’t start off well, but CORY saved this review. I walked in and didn’t get a greeting. I took pictures and made videos. Before I started communication with Cory. Who was at the register with a customer that came in after me. I asked him if it was their policy to not greet customers and he said no. I explained I wasn’t greeted and he apologized and helped me figure out what drinks I wanted. He made my drinks and they were yummy. The restrooms needed some cleaning and the manager Lauren could have been a little more friendly when asking me; are you waiting for something? AND why are you recording? I explained for a review of her establishment. For this location to be near the Mall of Georgia I expected better customer service. Maybe next time! Thanks CORY

For reference, nobody customers are here. I arrive for a small coffee, as simple as it could b. I’m never coming going to be coming back here. Why are the two workers blaming each other? Literally just make a small coffee for your only customer.

I don’t know…I pay the extra to get it door-dashed and this is how it’s delivered to me? I pay for the extra cold foam and this is how much you can afford to give? You guys charge a whole $1.25 and i get about 25 cents of cold foam and why is this venti so short on coffee? If you are going to charge people this much on door dash maybe you should quality control it better. Ridiculous and absurd for these prices dont come here they skimping fr.

This is the slowest Starbucks I ever been, I wait for around 45 minutes to get my drink and after I revived I notice my drink was not full enough and when ask about why my drink was not full the sever told me it was missing some ice that’s all, but He can give me more ice if I want it to see it full when it has ice already and in the picture you can see that I haven’t drink it yet.

I’ve been to this location a few times without issue, but today was disappointing. I ordered two pecan oat milk cortados and headed out, only to realize after the first sip that the drink was made incorrectly. My husband also mentioned his tasted off.

We went back, and I explained to the barista that the drinks were bitter and not what I usually receive. The barista suggested adding more pumps, and the manager echoed the same thing. I let them know that I order this drink often, and other locations (including the Target Starbucks) consistently make it correctly.

What left me frustrated wasn’t just the taste of the drink, but the way the situation was handled. It felt like the assumption was that we didn’t know what a cortado should taste like, rather than simply acknowledging a mistake may have been made. We didn’t receive an apology for the inconvenience of having to return either.

At $6 each plus tip, I expect a bit more care and customer service. Ironically, when the drinks were remade, they were perfect. No extra syrup required.
