Absolutely loved this place! The biryani was incredible — so flavorful and perfectly cooked — and the butter chicken was rich, creamy, and delicious. You can tell everything is made with care. The service was wonderful; everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting — definitely one of those spots you can’t wait to come back to. Highly recommend!
Nick was an awesome server. The portions are HUGE !

My family drove over an hour to arrive here for dinner, and it was 100% worth it! The food here was fantastic. I ordered the eggplant curry (which comes with rice), alongside the roti. I requested the mild version of the curry. Even the mild variant had just the right amount of kick. Everything was very tasty. I enjoyed it.
Additionally, the service was quite good, they brought our food out relatively quickly after we placed our order, and everything came out warm. On some of the meals, you may need to let them cool off before digging in. I feel that the entrees and sides were very fairly priced for what they were, although some of the appetizers tended to be a little more expensive. The employees were quite nice, and they even gave my mom and dad each a complementary mango custard, which they said was delicious. The experience here was great. Just be aware that the tables are on the small side and the meals are served across several dishes. It is a bit of a squeeze.
All in all, I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The food was wonderful and worth the drive.

FINALLY!! Delicious Indian food in Clermont that has a menu that is labeled for gluten free. The “other place” that’s been around a decade is run by very nice people, but nothing there is gluten free. This celiac girl has been to Persis twice and had great experiences. Last time (not pictured) I had Chana masala. Today, I had Kadai vegetable curry with medium spice. It was spicy, had my nose running a bit toward the end, but not too hot where I couldn’t taste the flavor. I cannot wait to come back a third time!

Got takeout tonight which did not disappoint. Butter chicken was so flavorful and the chicken was very moist. Got the medium spice level and it really wasn’t too spicy so don’t be afraid to get it Spicy level. The Saag Paneer was quite authentic and had great depth of flavor. Even the garlic naan was great. Couldn’t stop eating and can’t wait to try more dishes.

We got the samosas ($6 for 2) and the Dal Tadka ($16)and the flavor was wonderful. They had many vegan options. You can adjust the spice level. And the dining room and bathrooms are kept very clean and tidy. Music is a tad loud but we enjoyed the music videos lol. Prices were $15+ for the main dishes which I feel is average for Indian cuisine. My husband and I split and were able to get an extra portion of rice which filled us up beautifully.

Food was really good and service was fantastic. We ordered Lamb Vindaloo, Andhra chicken curry.. both are amazing and hot. The Garlic naan was the best i had in recent times. Will be back for sure.

We went for a family lunch during the week, it was very empty with ample seating (some customers popped in for takeout). However, something to consider with larger groups, they only have one large party table (5+) in the front as all the booths are meant for 4 max. Staff was friendly and they were able to accommodate making all of our food actually mild which was pleasant (some Indian spots have ‘mild’ levels that are still spicy).
FOOD. To start the garlic naan and samosas were great! Highly recommend. Everything was freshly cooked and portions for mains were sharable sized – we tried the goat biryani, lamb korma and chicken vindaloo. The biryani was a disappointment as it lacked on spices and tasted far too plain, & didn’t have much meat. Lamb korma and chicken vindaloo were good and went especially well with the garlic naan.
DRINKS. I got a chai and was disappointed it came in a tiny disposable cup… taste was mild (needed more spices/tea) overpowered by evaporated milk, they give you sugar options on the side to customize sweetness. Wouldn’t recommend.
DESSERT. They gave us the mango custard on the house after our meal which was a nice surprise. Flavour was good but just too sweet – if they cut down on the sweetness this would taste much better!
Overall, the samosas, curries and naan are worth trying & I would return with the family 🙂

My mom was craving Indian food and we went here. The waiter was super helpful and super sweet. The food was worth the price, the portions were great! The cook was accommodating to the various options of spicing. The waiter then gave us free dessert! My mom was super happy!
