Upscale, globally influenced dishes served in a relaxed space on a dock over the water.

We had the Trust the Chef menu and it was truly amazing. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and every dish was prepared with great care and skill. Since you don’t know the menu in advance, just two small remarks: we expected a dessert as part of a 5-course menu, and it can be difficult to choose a wine without knowing what dishes will follow. A wine-pairing option would be a great addition.
Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Charming, intimate spot with excellent food. They were also very good with our kids, offering a kids menu (and fast service!) and crayons. The braised rib was extremely tender and flavorful; the fish arrived slightly undercooked but they handled our request to cook it further very well. We didn’t get a chance to try dessert, but they looked fantastic. And they had a nice selection of beers on tap.

The best meal we have in New Zealand. The service is great, so friendly people here.
Each single dish is top! As good as a Michelins restaurant in London. My favorite so far the ceviche that’s one of my best ever. I add some picture to inspire your selection!
Not to cheap but definitely deserve 5 starts. Apart the location is charm, a great ocean view and perfect selection of music. Stop here please!

Best meal of my trip so far, shoot, best meal of the year! The mussels are perfection, truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Seafood chowder was very tasty and hearty, more thin broth than thick and creamy FYI. Pair d with a lovely Marlborough sav blanc The chefs looked like a vibe, no wonder they’re cranking out hot fire! Maitre D was also lovely. Beautiful views! Can’t recommend more

The food here is just okay. The only dish that stood out to us was the ceviche, however I would call it a crudo instead of a ceviche to give customers a clearer idea of what they would be getting. Everything else was underwhelming, the market fish was overcooked yet the skin was not crisp, the sourdough with whipped roe felt like it was missing something (maybe better sourdough that was more toasty?) and the mussels felt completely overwhelmed by the amount of mayonnaise and oil that completely hid them. I wouldn’t say any of the food was bad, I would just say it could be better thought out and prepared in better manners. It was also quite expensive for dishes of this caliber.

What a perfect place to dine in Nelson. I had the Seafood chowder for lunch – the best I’ve ever tasted! Rich with flavor, delicious seafood and not so heavy on the cream. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we will return for dinner tomorrow.

Absolutely outstanding experience! We ordered 18 oysters, which were fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The drinks flowed, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was beautiful.
The only small note is that the tipping process at the end felt a little awkward, but otherwise everything was exceptional. A must-visit in Nelson amazing food, great service, and stunning views.

What a sweet serendipitous find! I wasn’t even planning to stop for breakfast, but I saw this charming little building on the side of the road and decided to pop in because it reminded me of a favorite restaurant somewhere else. I am so happy I stopped! The food was delicious, prepared with care and attention. The service was impeccable, and the location right alongside the water was very peaceful. Highly recommend.

We sat on the outdoor patio overlooking the water. We had the catch of the day, the scallops and a side of sweet potato. Everything was delicious!
