Terrible Experience at Bojangles on University Drive
I stopped by the Bojangles on University Drive at 8:08 PM to pick up the Tailgater Special (only offered after 5 PM). I should’ve known something was off — not a single customer in the dining room or drive-thru. I wish I had trusted my instincts and left.
When I got home, the meal was a complete disaster. The chicken was clearly old and stale — dry, tough, and tasted like it had been sitting for hours. The dirty rice somehow had macaroni in it, which raises serious food safety concerns. If someone in my family had a cheese allergy, we could’ve had a medical emergency.
I reached out to the franchise owner by email, but based on this experience, I don’t expect a reply — or any real accountability. This location clearly needs a serious management overhaul. Save your time and money — and your health — and go elsewhere.

I’m just saying bojangles giving Popeyes a run for their money. I downloaded the app got a free sandwich and let’s just say it was delicious, the pickles are insanely huge, I was impressed.b the sandwich taste like REAL chicken, not what these other places give out and of course you can’t go wrong with the bo rounds. Yeah I’ll definitely be back. Try your meal with a strawberry Gatorade and thank me later.

the cashier didn’t allowed me to order. In person the food does look better than the Internet and smelled good too. I walked in at almost 9 she walked in 5mins later from the other entrance stating they were close google says 10pm but okay, I walked down the road for it. The cooker was going to help me out to place the order when saw me leaving but I decided not to and save my 20$ for later. 3 stars because can’t put the blame on the whole local just for one person.

Save your time and go to a different location, you’ll get your food faster even accounting for the extra driving time. Workers struggled to fill our order in any reasonable timeframe, 58 minutes total. By the time it was all together it was cold.

One word. LAZY. Came in at 7am ordering what I usually do, grilled chicken and cheese biscuit. I’ve ordered this at all the other locations. They said they don’t sell grilled chicken that early and if I wanted to wait it would be 20-30 minutes because it’s frozen…. I used to work at Bojangles and it doesn’t take 30 minutes to cook chicken, then proceeded to argue with me so I just said I’ll get it from the other locations 10 minutes away…. The one on 72 gave me no issues at all and had me out the door in 10 minutes. I’ve never had a good experience at this Bojangles I really wish they would do something about it. Most of the workers are rude

We stopped here for a quick bite and to try their grilled chicken sandwiches, due to Chick-fil A being too busy. Surprisingly, I’ve never had anything other than Bojangles’ chicken strips,but I will say that their grilled chicken clubs are worth a try! They were good! The fries were also hot and fresh. We ordered through the drive thru and the guy was short with me when I asked about the fries. He was also unprofessional, cussing into his mic. I know it could have been to a friend but for customers to hear, it’s unprofessional. We had to drive a good while, so we decided to eat in the parking lot. It’s not the best part of town, so there’s a lot of foot traffic walking around the parking lot; as well loitering. I will say, this was my one and only visit to this specific Bojangles. However, wouldn’t recommend.
