Service (5/5): The establishment was very busy with every table basically full by 10:30am. However, they were attentive throughout the whole dining experience. The staff were super warm and friendly.
Hot drip coffee is self-serve! The specials for the day were written on a chalk board in the outdoor dining area. We opted to try their: Lemon Ricotta Pancake (5/5): So so so good! It was thin and had a forward taste of the lemon which I loved. It tasted great even without maple syrup.’
Breakfast Bowl (4/5): I don’t think there was anything to write home about but their poached eggs were great! I should have assumed that the bowl was going to consist mostly of potatoes.
I ordered the chicken salad, which was different than what I expected—it was more of a puréed style rather than the chunkier version I’m used to. It wasn’t bad, just not really my thing, so I’d probably skip it next time. My wife had the lobster roll, and that looked amazing—definitely a better choice. Her fries were fresh and crisp, and my sweet potato fries were excellent.
Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was even better. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
We ordered Cappuccino. When I asked for sugar, the waitress told me it was by the door, as if I was supposed to get it. On second thought, she offered to get it for me and brought one packet for my husband and myself( to share?).
I got the sweet Potato Hash and the potatoes were cooked unevenly. Some were hard and some were properly cooked. They were not uniformly cooked. Didn’t love it. They ration the ketchup in small cups, for whatever reason. So, I guess they’re conserving sugar and condiments. Rather than making customers feel welcome and catered to, it felt like we were imposing.
The bathroom offered no towels and the hand blower blew only cold air. Inefficient for drying hands.
We won’t be visiting again.
– Carrot cake pancakes (Specialty item, not THAT good)
– Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon (Average, smoked salmon was almost frozen)
– Breakfast bowl (This was my favorite, definitely needs hot sauce though, lacks a little bit of flavor)
– Side of fries
