Overall, the restaurant could use a refresh. The interior feels dated, with very dark, dim colors, and it’s easy to drive right past without noticing it. Inside, there’s nothing particularly memorable, and the piano lounge area especially feels stuck in another era.
The food is hit or miss. The steaks are generally very good, and the prime steak is excellent. However, the seafood and à la carte vegetable dishes are more of a three-star experience at best. The calamari was a major disappointment. For $23, it shouldn’t be dry, tough, and chewy—unfortunately, that’s exactly what it was.
I did mention the issue to the waiter. I’m not sure there was much he could do, but service-wise he still received a 20% tip from me.
All in all, there are plenty of other fine-dining options that offer a better overall experience.
Of course, when the steak arrived, we had high expectations: these were once more surpassed and we were amazed by the quality and flavor of the steaks.
I WISH I remember our waiters name because he was amazing. Very friendly and helpful, went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. Especially when it came to my lack of knowledge about drinks, I randomly picked one (I probably would have hated) and he took the time to ask what I generally drink to be able to recommend something else and he was on point!
The food was amazing! My boyfriend “doesn’t like steak” but definitely enjoyed the filet I ordered. Turns out he likes good steak. He very much enjoyed his chin tuna also
We went for my 30th birthday and they made sure to make it special.
We were then seated at a booth in the section opposite of the bar/piano. My wife and I are not big people, and the booth felt really tight and not comfortable to sit at.
Our server Jerry was extremely attentive, very professional, and with great recommendations. The food runners were also very attentive and kept our water refilled constantly.
Now, the reason for the 3 star review is the food. Ill start by saying that the filets were delicious and perfectly cooked, but thats it. The sides all fell flat, as you can tell they weren’t fresh, and no attention to details on plating. The lobster bisque should’ve just been called, a bisque. Where’s the lobster?
The potatoes were like cement, the creme spinach wasn’t appealing, and the side of angel hair pasta, besides the fact I explained I had a garlic allergy, came out full of garlic. They then just brought me cooked pasta.
Our server did feel bad and comped us desert, my wife went with their giant orange cake, and I opted for the creme brulée which was fantastic! Overall, if you spend over $200 on dinner, id expect much higher food quality, and a much quieter atmosphere, as it gets really loud in there.
The service was amazing. So many people helped.
The food was delicious. Everything from the appetizers, the salad, and the entrees.
We had a reservation for 7:15 and got there about 25 minutes early. No problem we were seated right away. Our waiter who was Anthony was great. Made a few suggestions which we had and they were delicious.
Overall our whole experience and time here was wonderful. Officially my wife and I’s new favorite restaurant.
